It's OK. My daughter has a friend that was born in July named Autumn and people DO ask why she was named Autumn instead of Summer but there will always be something to tease about; if that's the worst of it she will be fine.

I definitely think so! Naming her Autumn if she were actually born then may sound a little cliche to some people. I love that name, and would use it for a girl born in any season. I always liked the name Autumn Paige.

Yes, my little girl is named Autumn, and she was born in December. Actually, her birthday is early December, so it's still technically autumn, but a lot of people say "Why did you name her Autumn when she was born in the winter?" Anyway, we would have named her that regardless of when she was born. The fact that she was a fall baby was just by chance.

I like that name. Why not name her Autumn if that is a name you like? A lot of girls have at least the middle name May and they aren't born in May at all. The same gos for the name April l& June

I think that's perfectly fine! I know a little girl named Summer Elaine who was born in February! She's adorable and no one ever brings up her name being a different season than she was born. By the way, Autumn is adorable, definately go with it!

you can name your kida anything you want. Autumn is a fine name even if she is born in the spring. it seems a bit trite to name a child born in october autumn. sounds like you were stumped for ideas. Ok it is autumn so we will name this one autumn and the next one whos birthday is in july we will name summer.

Personally, I think it's better to give this name in any other season besides Autumn. And I love this name, it's simple and warm.
