If my last period started on the 14th of December, and I had sex Jan 1st, was I fertile on the 1st?

My son wants to quit the Basketball team. He made the team and has been practicing for two months. His grades have dropped. He plays an instrument and has stopped practicing. so far half the season has progressed and he has yet to play in one game. In fact in practice his coach doesn't even involve him in the plays. His coach calls him a "pussy" because he doesn't play with passion since he stopped caring after he rode the bench for half the season. In fact the coach played a 7th grader before him. Do you think it would be the right thing to allow him to quit?

I have been trying for the past year to get my daughter to go on the potty, yet she is not interested. I know I am not pressuring her. She just doesn't understand, I think. People give me looks and family members criticize because she is not potty trained. What should I do to answer them or help daughter learn what the potty is?

Ok, so I've had this name picked out since I was a little girl. I lost my daddy to a heart attack when I was in elementary school. His first and middle name was Terry Lee. I was a major daddy's girl so this was a hard blow for me in life. My husband and I are family planning right now so we're talking about names for fun.

I like the name Angellee or Angeleigh (pronounced Ann-ja-lee)

If you notice, it has Angel + Lee (my daddy is an angel now and it uses his middle name). What do you think? And the spelling- which is better?

Please be nice though. I'm pretty sensitive to this subject since it concerns a big part of my heart.

i had the kid last friday and iam still swelling in my calf. and if u push on my leg it leaves a indintsion. my calf are hard and my feet are red.iam getting head aces on and off what should i do. iam still getting cramps and bleeding in clots. whats wrong with me...

He's currently drinking milk from a bottle, but we're trying to get him to drink milk from either a cup directly or through a straw. We've tried to make the transition for a couple days now, and he refuses...we're afraid he's not getting the nutrients he needs...any suggestions from parents who have been through it?

I've been having really bad nausea over the past two days. I've also been getting random spotting. I've been on the pill for about 3 months now and had the spotting symptom within the first few weeks outside of my period. This is really starting to scare me. I've never had nausea before and spotting hasn't occured in a while. Could I be pregnant?

I am a single mother of 15 year old boy and 11 year old girl. Both kids are very affectionate to me. Is it weird or abnormal for my 15 year old to lay his head in my lap or on my shoulder? Sometimes he will lie down next to me on the couch. I don't see a problem, but my long time boyfriend thinks that this is totally abnormal behavior.

For the past week, I have been having a really hard time sleeping, and i have had this very queasy feeling to my stomach that comes and goes, and my cheeks have been getting very flushed. Does anyone know what could be causing these symptoms? A friend told me that, the same thing happend to her when she got pregnant. This could be a possibility. My boyfriend and I have sex on a regular basis, and i know this is no form of protection, but he does pull out. If anyone has any answers to my questions you would be of great help. Thanks.

I know everyone says try to get her to eat more during the day, but I can't force feed her. She was barely eating anything and only depending on her formula. She is getting better at eating and she is on milk now. Tell me if you think what she eats in a typical day would still make her hungry at night.

Wake up at 7 - breakfast -1/4 cup oatmeal and 1 container stage 2 fruit, water and a handful of puffs

8:30 - 5 oz. bottle of milk 11:00- snack - 2 or 3 wagon wheels and some water 12:00 - 6 oz. bottle of milk

1:30 - snack - 1/4 piece of bread, puffs and some cheerios 3:30 - 5 oz. bottle of milk

5:30-6:00- dinner - some kind of veggies, bread whatever i can get her to eat

7-7:30 8 oz. bottle of milk this is a good day of eating. She usually eats less than this. Should this be enough to sustain her thru the night? Do you think it is out of habit or is she hungry? Is the formula more filling than whole milk. I am so sick of her waking up. If I knew it was a habit, I would let her cry more than I do, but I can't be sure. I try to feed her more before bed. Last night she had a good dinner and snacks before bed and then an 8 oz. bottle before bed. She was up more than ever to drink. 2 feedings. She drank 11 oz. in the middle of the night. Maybe it is a growth spurt or she is getting use to the milk. The waking up more has happened since she has been on full milk. input please. thanks Debbie

Im currently 16 weeks pregnant, and i was told i had to wait until i was 20 weeks to get an ultrasound done, i want to do it before the beginning of feb, as my hubby works on the road alot and never knows when he will be around, but he wants to be there to find out what we are having, why wont they do an ultrasound before 20 weeks? im paying for it, can i request one? Or call the place that does the ultrasounds myself and get one done? I have insurance for it, or what can i do, if my dr says not before 20 weeks? Thanks so much for any advice :)
And now that i heard the heartbeat, does the risks drop? The heartbeat was about 160 today...Thanks!!

I ask, because I am 12 weeks and 4 days and I felt my baby move last night and again today. Last night I was laying down and I had just drank some cold water. I started feeling those flutters in my lower abdomen soon after that. Today, it happened while I was sitting at my desk at work and drinking lemon-lime soda. It's so exciting and I wanted to see how soon others experienced this in their second pregnancy.

throughout my pregnancy my stomache has always gotten hard at times. But it has been hard for over a day straight. Its really hard to walk and hurts. I went to the ER and had a few contractions but my cervix was closed. They didnt give me a sonigram or anything? I am a SAHM with 3 children ages- 2months, 2 years, and 4 years old. I wake up at 7:30 am and my feet don't get off of the ground until about 11 pm.
