Pregnancy & Parenting - 3 January 2007

Im three days late and im usually a day early or right on time.. I have taken two pregnancy test one yesterday which was negative and one today which was also negative, took them both after work. So what is going on my nipples are senitive but thats about it. So what you guys think?????

My son is 5 months old, and was induced 3 weeks premature. A couple of my friends all have children that are within a week or two of his age. My girlfriends' daughter who is fouth months, locks her legs and "stands". She always does it, you can barely sit her on her butt when you hold her on your lap. My son will not lock his legs or plant his feet when I hold him over the floor, or put him in his bounceroo thingie. Im worried that, because of his prematurity and the nature of the delivery (which was tough and ended up in a C-section) that he may have Cerebral Palsy. Is this a warning sign, or am I just paranoid??

So in my health class i swear i heard that men are born with their sperm and girls are the ones that reproduce eggs every time that that they get their period. SO which one is it and please tell me its the guy that is born with their sperm i need to win a bet.

he will be 4 months in 10 days and he is on formula. I've changed the formula and Nestel good start with omega 3 and 6 is the best.

recently posted a question about how I was worried about my son and I had some responses saying he may be masturbating in the bathroom.Is this normal to do in there?Why in my bathroom?He has his own. Have any other mothers known their sons to do this?

Yes I made a mistake because I'm human. I thought the guy I dated (18 years old) loved me. My dad is strict and dominant and my mom is submissive and weak. How do I tell them I'm pregnant? My friend bought me a pregnancy test and it turned out positive 2 times. And I also have nausea. I don't have any prenatal care yet. If I do tell my parents I'm pregnant, I'm fearful of my dad that he will kick me out of the house and that my mom will support his decision. Because he has kicked my older sister out (long story) before and my mom did nothing about it. I don't know where my sister lives and I don't have her contact address, if I knew I would go live with her because she is a kind person.
I don't have any money and I'm stuck in an unloving negative home.

I have a one year old son, so i know what to expect, and i know what im getting myself into. I just dont remember feeling like this when I was pregnant with him. My boobs are sore to touch, and i feel like im goin to puke at the smell of some foods. Im very moody. Im also very tired. My breasts never hurt and know they hurt to touch and so do my nipples. And i dont just feel like im goin to get sick in the mornings but anytime i think about certain foods or cooks something. I was like this with my 1 year old.

I have an eleven year old niece that is highly intrigued by sex. She is very into boys and I'm fearing will be quite promiscuous once she discovers the true act of sex. Her mother is not living in the home with her, she is actually living in a halfway house due to being a meth addict. Her father laughs at her silly gestures about boys or any sexual gesture she may conduct. I find it highly nerve racking thinking that she is very near reaching her cycle time, and has not had anyone speak to her about the consequences of sex. I have sat several times talking to her about her gestures and clothing and also about the importance of knowing that she doesn't need to "fit in" to be cool. The friends she has chosen are older than herself and WAY into boys. I know there's not much I can do besides talking to her and assuring her that sex shouldn't be an option at such a young age. But does anyone have any really great idea's to limit her interest in this matter? Any help would be great

I've let my 4 month old son sleep with me in my bed, and I want to transition him to his crib finally. I let my older son sleep in the bed with me until he was 3, and I had a lot of trouble getting him to sleep in his own bed. I want to avoid the same problem. Our bedroom will be small, so a co-sleeper that attaches to the bed isn't an option. My fiance has willingly slept on the couch for 4 months because he is afraid of SIDS, but I have tried explaining to him that it's still a risk with the baby in bed with me, not to mention rolling off the bed. I don't have any fluffy bedding, pillows, or thick blankets in his crib as a precaution. Any advice? I'd really like my fiance back in the bed without us worrying through the night.

He is stuck on only a few foods, we cant ever go out anywhere nice because he wont eat anything off the menu,he takes vitamens and drinks pedisure but it frustrates me as a mother.

Okay! Ive just found out like not to long ago that I was 28wks pregnant on the 18th of Dec. so those that mean I got pregnagt on the 11th of June???? I mean my due date is on the 11th of March and thats like 9 months right? Well the deal is i've slept with an A and a B that month the A on the 11th and the B on the 14th and 17th of the month of June. I'm soo confused and dont know whos the father. I am 8 weeks pregnant and I feel dead tired 24/7. I wake up and I am tired, and by 1pm I am ready to sleep. I work 8 hours a day so its hard to concentrate being so fatigued, but my body is not letting me sleep more than 7 hours a day with no naps!! I am dead tired when I walk, and when I walk up stairs I feel like I am going to pass out.

What can I do to stop feeling so tired? Its miserable, I don't have energy to live my life!
