My fiancees neice is 7 years old and still sucks her thumb. We are always reminding her to not do it, but 2 minutes later its back in her mouth. Her mother said she has tried everything. Right now she is trying to ignore her when she does it, which i dont agree with. Does anybody have any ideas we could try that have been succesfull for you or someone you know?

ok ..two years ago my ex's , uncle went crazy and cut the throat of a 4 yr old girl and the throat of her 24 yr old mother and raped her.both dead .Since then we had a baby together and then split up. she took me to court and racked up a ton of legal fee's and got nothing, anyway now she is telling me she is going to move to that trailer with another uncle of hers no less so that she can save money to pay off her lawyer fee from trying to gain full custody of our child . we have joint custody now - her ploys backfired on her if anything and she get less then what i offered in the first place . i know that doesnt have anything to do with my question but it makes me feel vindicated.
My question is - should i not have a problem with her moving into the murder death trailor, i just keep wonder what room my son will get - the room the 4 yr old was killed or the room her mother was killed and raped - and yes i do mean killed and raped. as you might be able to tell by my tone i am againstit

Okay ladies, a lot of us get them on our tummy's and our boobs. What place on your body did you get stretchmarks that was rather odd? My weirdest places are my calfs and the crease between my thighs and pelvic area (don't know exactly what that's called...).

Is it possible to get pregnant if i didnt really have sex, my bf just put his penis inside for a second and then withdrawed. no ejaculation. and just a week after period ended. i dont know if precum can cause pregnancy or not but if the penis was just there for a second can it cause a pregnancy. should i be worried or not?

I was wondering, an embryo wouldn't live that long without nourishment since it's more vulnerable or whatever the word is..So if the mom stopped eating, how long would it be for the embryo to abort itself..If that makes sense....if it's even possible...just wondering, no reason in particular

This is my first grand child and I am a bit rusty to say the least. She is making different sounds, can say Da Da, the first sylable of a few words and I have taught her some sign language. She picks up on different tasks easily and her motor skills are good but her vocabulary is still very limited. Should I be more concerned since she is not talking at 16 months or just let nature take its course??

I was just wondering if this is a normal symptom? I have been telling the doc about it for about 10 weeks, and they act like I am overreacting, but it hurts to do just about anything! I wanted to name my baby daughter somehow honoring both my grandmother, by combining both of their names in to one. My grandmothers names are Evelyn and Cora, so I though I could make the name Corrynne and it would resemble both. Another idea would be honoring my two long-time best friends, Lisa and Kelly and naming her Lilly as a combo.
Is that really lame, or is it the thought behind it that counts?
