Remember to breathe, take in deep breaths rather than shallow. Drink plenty of water and go for a walk whenever you can.
My wife did this and it helped her.

Although the baby is still so tiny and needs only minimal calories at 8 weeks, you are creating a new organ...the placenta. And that takes incredible energy. Eat well. It might be better to eat 5 or 6 small meals a day to maintain a steady blood sugar level rather than the usual 3 big meals a day. Rest. If you feel tired, it is because you are tired and need to rest. If you can't sleep, at least lay down and relax...with a book, magazine, etc. Check with your doctor about possible anemia...you might need to take some iron and/or other prenatal vitamins. Drink lots of water. Do some mild exercise...a short walk, a gentle swim.

I know how you feel! My first sign that I was pregnant was that I was so tired it was actually painful. My 1st trimester I was soooo tired all the time. I would struggle to get up for work in the morning and I was constantly late (because I couldn't get out of bed!) I would go home and take naps on my lunch break instead of eating! I would get home in the evenings after work and literally go to bed at around 7 PM. I understand being miserably exhausted ALL THE TIME. It does get better though. I'm in my 2nd trimester and am still pretty tired but it's bearable.
Unfortunately there's not much you can do. Growing a baby is a LOT of work and really takes a toll on your body. I pretty much spent my entire 1st trimester asleep...just know that it does get better!
My supervisor knew I was pregnant so I took a couple afternoons off or came in late because I was so exhausted. Hopefully you have an understanding boss as well.
Good luck!

Early on in your pregnancy, you'll probably start to feel very sleepy during the day. Your sudden craving for a nap is caused by the newly raised levels of progesterone, which is normal during pregnancy. This female hormone helps to regulate your reproductive cycle. The presence of progesterone can make a normal day at work seem as taxing as running a marathon; you may be so worn out that you may even think you're coming down with the flu.
Though progesterone makes you feel drowsy, it can also disrupt your sleep at night, leading to even more fatigue the next day. Unfortunately, there's no real way around this problem other than to rest as much as you can -- even if you can't fall asleep. Remember, too, that the time you spend in bed is rarely the same as the hours you actually sleep, so grab a quick catnap whenever you get the chance.
Also, if you're worried, see your doctor as there is increased chance of anaemia in pregnancy.

Have you always been tired like this or only in pregnancy. Get a blood test from the doctor, you may be anaemic, they can give you iron tablets for this and will help loads. your body is being used so much at the moment its no wonder you are tired. stay in bed as long as you can, even if you dont sleep you will be glad of the rest. relax.maybe perhaps there is a problem with your thyroyd. i dont know what thats all about but my mate has a thyroyd problem and she's always tired. and at very worst my sister has M.E and she is always tired. but thats very unlikely. id say get your doctor to check you out. he may say its one of those pregnancy things but you never know.

You need to get a blood test to make sure that your iron levels are good. Get on a prenatal vitamin, right away. Being tired is natural, your body is changing alot, but make sure you make healthy eating choices and get plenty of rest.

You might have sleep apnoea. (Constantly interrupted sleep.)
Find out if you snore. (A symptom)
A doctor can refer you to a sleep disorder clinic.
The only truly restful sleep is R.E.M. (Rapid Eye Movement) sleep which occurs about two hours after falling asleep. This is when you dream.
There are several very good solutions to sleep apnoea. Good luck

It's normal for you to feel this way especially so early in your preganany, your body is adjusting to alot of hormonal changes and it is in the process of creating the placenta. You should check out this link, it's helped me out because when I was 8 weekd I felt the same you that you did. But there are alot of factors like your activities and your diet. http://www.whattoexpect.com/index.aspx?puid=6c73ce5f-ee6a-4bfc-b2d1-aef57af46c74
