my niece was potty trained by the time she turned 2, so i wa jw what the average age was.

SO IS SHE ADVANCED IF IT WAS BY THE TIME SHE WAS 2 SHE WAS COMPLETELY TRAINED?

Depending on the child, you can potty train anywhere between 18 months and 4 years old. It all depends on the child, their interest in the toilet, and your dedication to the consistency of your effort. Girls generally potty train a little earlier than boys. Your niece seems to be right on track.

I started at 2. And completely trained by 3.

Most preschools say a child must be completely trained before they go to school, so that would be age 4.

My parents told me that I was completely trained by the time I was 2. I would say about 3 is the average age. Any older than that, barring a developmental disability, I think you are just a lazy parent, like most these days.

No..it does not mean she is advanced. Some kids are ready by 2 and others a little later. My kids werent fully trained until close to 3.

at 2 is the right age i think. my daughter was done and trained at her 2nd birthday

between 3 and 4. any earlier, and you are forcing it which can lead to behavioral problems and/or body/self esteem issues.
