You should go get a blood test to make sure you are pregnant, why are you dating someone that old when you are 16?

DO NOT USE THE CLEAR BLUE EASY DIGITAL PREGNANCY TEST! I got a false positive and went to the emergency room thinking I was having pregnancy complications. Turns out, they did an ultrasound and bloodwork and said I wasn't pregnant and had nothing medical that would cause a false positive. If you go to amazon.com and search for that pregnancy test and read the reviews, other women have had the same problem I did. Try First Response....it is always accurate.

The time you got pregnant depends on when you had your last period. Two weeks ago is probable because that is around the time you may have ovulated.

As for telling your mom, I think you need to tell her how old your boyfriend is first. He MAY go to jail. The fact that he is 28 and you are 16 means he commited statutory rape. I understand that at 16 you may feel grown but emotionally you aren't. Your mom may be able to help you if you are in fact pregnant, but I don't think she will be very understanding of your 28 year old boyfriend.

I am currently 4 months pregnant and I will tell you exactly what my doctor told me "If the home test said you were pregnant, then you are, I will need to see you when you are 8-10 weeks along!" My doctor said that they usually don't do blood tests anymore because the home tests are very accurate. If in doubt, take another test! If the tests is already saying that you are pregnant, then you are probably at least 6-8 weeks along. Good Luck! It sucks that you are only 16 (you should have been more careful, and some who is 28 SHOULD know better) but life is not over and if your boyfriend is that old, hopefully he will be more responsible than someone your age and really help you with the baby!

pretty accurate. i think its safe to say your pregnant. your in a hard situation, but probably the best thing to do right now, as hard and as not fun as its going to be is tell your mom. as far as you boyfriend being 28, does she know that? if she doesnt than that might be a problem also, she could file for statutory rape. some states say the concenting age is 16, but usually you have to be within 2-4 years range for it to be ok, and your 12 years younger so. if you havent had your period for the past 2 months you could be that far along, but if this just happened and youve been fine til now i would think your not too far. you need to tell you mom, she will know what to do, ie doctor visits etc. and i know a lot of people on here are probably going to try to make you feel like a w**** but dont let it bother you. just because your 16 and having sex doesnt mean your a bad person. you should have been more careful, but accidents happen. when i was 17 i was dating a 23 year old and i thought i was pregnant, the condom had broke. so dont feel bad, just take responsibility for what happened. be brave and upfront when you tell your mom, and be prepared for her to be upset but in the end she should help you with whatever you decide to do about this. hope everything turns out okay!

A positive result is actually more accurate than a negative result. I would tell your mom right away, so she can help you get the support you are going to need. Telling your mom is going to be the easy part...your boyfriend explaining to the district attorney what he was doing impregnating a 15 or 16 year old girl is going to be the hard part! Chrissy is right, you are NOT a bad person, but I think that he is.

I would guess that you are pregnant from the prior time rather than two weeks ago, but it depends on when you got your last period. Good luck!

You may have gotten pregnant b4 2 months. But yeah I believe you are pregnant. PT look for a certain hormon if you don't got it you aren't if you o you are. So I'd say you are. The best thing for you to do is to tell your mom when shes in a good mood. Sit her dow and tell her you love her you are sorry but yo are pregnant. Yes she'll freakout atleast becuz you are 16 years old. But give her a little while I'm sure she'll calm down and be happy about it. As for the bf he might end up in jail. And he should. becuz you are 16 and he is almost 30.

They are about 99% accurate with a positive. I would say go get a blood test done. That can properly date your pregnancy. When did you have your last period? If it was about a month ago then you got pregnant about 2 weeks ago. Also.. you just need to be honest with your mom. Good luck

I have taken about 20+ clear blue test in my life 3 came back positive and 17+ came back negative. Well I have been pregnant 3 times now. I lots 2 babies. But I have a little boy now. I think that now what you need to be thinking about your future. It is hard to get through life now with a college education, I couldn't imagine with out. I am not saying to give the baby up in any way. I would never be able to do that myself. Sit down with your mother and have a queit calm conversation with her. She may be mad but 9 times out of 10 Mothers are understanding about this. This happens more and more now with young people these days. Good luck!
What on earth would you and a 28 year old have in common? I have some things in common with my husband who is 28 (and I am 26) like we can both drink, get married, buy smokes, vote, drive, play the lottery etc.

you probably got pregnant a few months ago and the clearblue digital pregnancy tests work 75% of the time and as for telling your mom just tell her, she probably will just ground you and make you stop dateing the 12 year older guy than you who made you pregnant

Accurate. If you have a good relationship with Mom sit down and have a talk. If not, I'd suggest a visit to a Doctor, a clinic, or planned parenthood soon - like tomorrow. They will be able to help you confirm whether you're pregnant and also be able to help with strategies on how to break the news. You have a lot of decisions to make and you need to talk to someone soon. Good luck.
