Your boyfriend is just a little jealous of your son.
I think it is wonderful that your son wants to be close to you.
My son is now 29 and he still likes to cuddle his mother while watching television when he comes to visit.
There is nothing at all wrong with him and you should not let anyone tell you any differently. It shows you have given him a lot of love and affection which is very good for both of you and if anyone wants to read any more into this they are not as lucky as you and I and have morbid minds.

According to the law, and to me as well, it is rape- statutory rape. I do not blame the boy. I don't believe in shaming people about their sexuality, and not especially when they are the ones being taken advantage of. He should not feel regret if he doesn't already feel it, he is not abnormal (or else miost 15-year old boys are abnormal!), he's not a piece of moral filth (who DOESN'T brag about their sexual exploits?), and the last one doesn't even make sense, unless these people are condeming all underage and/or pre-marital sex. I think there is a problem with the woman for doing something that is against the law for good reason, but I find no fault with the boy, who is legally a victim, and emotionally, happy as a clam.

No, I don't think there's anything wrong with this behavior. My brother wanted to be rocked by my mom at 13 while I didn't even want a hug from either parent at that age. My niece -in -law is 16 and displays this sort of behavior around her mom, dad, and grandparents. Her mom is 39 and does the same to her mom and dad. It just depends on the child's disposition and how close they are to their parents. I wouldn't feel comfortable with it personally because I wasn't all that close to my parents. Maybe your boyfriend wasn't close to his family as well and this seems abnormal to him. As long as there's nothing sexual about it-(and there doesn't seem to be)-it's fine.

Some people would view this as abnormal, but from a purely objective view, no it isn't. What it does mean is that he has a very comfortable relationship with you and that he is not afraid to express his emotions and feelings. Is that so terrible? I'm 25 and I still hug my mom and lay my head on her shoulder. Be grateful that he is sensitive and emotionally trusting and won't grow up to be a macho prick.

If it's been something he's done for as long as you can remember then don't worry about it. I'd say you're lucky that you teenage son still shows some affection. Most teens won't do things like that. He just loves you. Don't listen to your boyfriend. He may just be weirded out by such affection.

No, but I think your boyfriend is jealous of this. What your son is doing is completely normal and actually healthy. You must be a real good caring mother who he really loves to be near.
Your boyfriend probably doesn't like sharing the intimate contact you have with your children with him. Your son is doing nothing wrong is it is innocent.
It is your boyfriend that has the problem.

My son was the same way.
Your boyfriend is jealous because he was not so close to his mother. And truly, your boyfriend should have NO say in your relationships with your children.
Keep an eye on your boyfriend, it sounds like he is going to have major problems with your son. Too much testosterone!

It's not abnormal if it's maybe once a day.....just means he loves his mommy
But if it's an all day thing and he's always up under you.....you may have a problem
