I got really sick with them (I couldn't hold them down) so my OB told me I could take flinstones instead. But I think they only tell you to do that if you can't hold them down at all. Ask your doc.
Also, most of the women I knew told me to take them at night, but it didn't work for me, though it seems to for most people

I am currently 13 weeks and the prenatal vitamins I take now don't bother me at all. But when I was pregnant with my son 5 years ago, I used to get sick everytime I took my vitamins (they were a different brand than the ones I take now), but I thought that it was all in my head at first. But I started realizing that no matter what time I took them or what time I ate or what I ate, I would throw up, I couldn't keep anything down after I took them. But as soon as I got off of them I never threw up again.

Don't take them on an empty stomach. Also, please go to school and learn how to spell. It scares me to know people who use such spelling and have an obvious lack of education are bringing a child into the world. Honestly, parental vita-mimes while being pregnet? Try prenatal vitamins while you are pregnant.

I had the same problem with the vitamins they prescribe at the doctors so i had to buy the ones at the store. As long as i eat before i take one then I'm ok but taking them on an empty stomach, especially in the beginning when your vomiting all day, can very easily make you sick to your stomach. Also the nurse told me it's ok to take two children's vitamins like Flintstones until morning sickness fades.

It's a lot of vitamin! Eat first, so they aren't on an empty stomach, and do your best to drink with a full glass of water.
If they continue to bother you, you can spread them out over the day (my prenatal vitamins were 4 a day). Be careful, as B vitamins can cause problems sleeping if you take them too late in the day.

Yes ... in some cases it can like myself they don't but my best friend couldn't take them they made her sick to her stomach.Ask your DR if there are other ways you can get the vitamins you need without taking prenatal vitamins or if there are other prenatal vitamins out there that i can try then the ones you have already take. Also being only 6 weeks it may fade once you get more along in your pregnancy!

Make sure you read the directions on the box carefully. I ounce had vitamins that said not to eat with food to wait 2hrs. Speak to a doctor tell him or her your concerns. There are different kinds of prenatal vitamins. I'm sure your Ob/Gyn will put you on something different and then you'll see how the different vitamin effects you and then maybe you'll see if it really was the vitamin.

Try taking them at night instead of in the morning. That helps some women.
I found that taking 2 children's chewables worked better for me than taking the PNV's.

Mine do. And they have every time I have been pregnant. I take them at night and then go to bed so it doesn't effect me negatively. Perhaps try that. Good job for taking good care of your baby. Congrats!
