throughout my pregnancy my stomache has always gotten hard at times. But it has been hard for over a day straight. Its really hard to walk and hurts. I went to the ER and had a few contractions but my cervix was closed. They didnt give me a sonigram or anything? Do you think there could be somehting wrong with my placenta or appendix or something else going on?

Its just contractions. You'll be glad for that in the end. That sort of contraction, that lasts for all eternity doesnt cause labor, it just helps move things a long so your body is ready.

Ive been getting those since... 4 months? Just lay down and drink water if you're earlier than 34 weeks. Walking and dehydration bring them on some times.

Sounds kind of like Braxton Hicks contractions to me.

How far along are you? At about 35 weeks pregnant your body peaks at it's amniotic fluid levels, meaning you are at your "fullest" if you are around that point then thats why you're so hard.
