You really need to go to the doc. If you had pre eclampsia it would be semi normal. But if not then Id call your doc or go to ER if youare super worried. I had preeclampsia when I was pregnant but it normally goes away after birth..I on the other hand STILL have high blood pressure 3 years after birth. The fact that you have swelling and headaches makes me think blood pressure which could be dangerous. If it was me Id go to the ER.

Its normal to have swelling a few days after and even headaches because of your hormones, but it has been a while I would at least call an advice nurse at your doctors or hospital. They will tell you if you need to be seen. I ended up with hypothyroidism and for some reason the swelling took longer to go down, bad circulation or something. You could be still swollen if they gave you a lot of fluids though an IV. But I would still ask especially if you had had an epidural, those freak me out.

I think you should go see your doctor about these problems, Maybe he has a better answer than what i could give you. It they are red, and hard and hot to the touch, you may have a blood clot in your veins. Not sure though, only a doctor can tell (do tests).

Ring NHS direct now. It could be a deep vein thrombisis in which case you need urgent medical attention before the clot moves into your heart or lungs.

Go to the doctor, or emergency room now. You could be suffering from Preeclampsia, which is common in the week after giving birth. You need medical attention right away if this is the case. You could suffer from seizure or death if this is untreated.

I think you should see your GP asap. The swelling is probably just the water retention you get in pregnancy - it can return. However, I'd get it checked out if you're worried about the bleeding.

Go and phone your doctor. This is not the place to get help. It might be nothing but get checked immediately - better safe. Phone now.
