my daughter is turning 2 next month, and latley she's been hitting people. yesterday, when i put her in her carseat, she started hitting me in the face, and when i put her hands on her lap, and told her no hitting, and told her that it hurt, she laughed and did it again. she does this every time i tell her to stop hitting. she thinks its funny. what should i do?

I just recently had a 4D ultrasound done. They sent the results back to my regular doctor. When my doctor discovered that the baby is still breech at almost 36 weeks she ordered another ultrasound and had it set up for next week (week 36). I was told that if he is still breech I may end up getting a external cephalic version done to try to move the baby manually. Are there any kind of exercises I can do at home between now and then to try to move him on my own?

Okay... I have some time before baby comes in april but wanted to see what you thought of this carseat. This is my fourth child, and my old infant carrier is pretty outdated. I was doing research and I think I have found one... but also wanted to see if any of you have it or know someone who does... how they liked it and how well it fits in vehicles ect.... I am looking at the Graco SafeSeat... The one that will accomodate an infant to 30 lbs and 32 inches tall. My biggest problem is that I have VERY large long babies... and they tend to be out of a traditional carrier before they are 3 months old! (my smallest was 7lbs9oz and 23in at birth... two weeks early!!!) Does anyone have experience with this particular carseat and would you recommend it?? why and why not? Thank you!

I need to buy 2 baby gates as my son is slowly starting to crawl...he should be at full speed in a week...lol..I wantto put one in the kitchen and one in the hallway...I want one that either it opens by your foot or it opens easily by a push of the hand and i have a 8 yr old daughter and she needs to be able to access these gates easily. Do you have any of these types. If so, i need the names of these gates so i do not go crazy when i am at the store. thanks in advance

I am looking for something that he can do his homework on and also use to draw and do other things. Its difficult to find something that is his size though. Has anyone seen anything online or at a store that is adjustable or smaller than adult sized, but larger than preschool size?

Ok, so my bff is having a New Year's Party. She is inviting 3 of her other friends that i have never met, but they r some of her bff's. I already know what will happen: She's gonna hang out with them and leaving me trailing behind. And I will finally get the courage to leave her and go somewhere else and do something else, then she'll come looking for me and then whenever she finds me, she'll be all sad and treat me like a hurt puppy dog. Is it worth going or what? I want to go, but her other bff's that I won't know r high skoolers, and we r middle skoolers, so she's OBVIOUSLY wanna go with them.


This has happened b4. And she's telling me that she would NEVER do this, but she does it ALL the time.

my husbands exwife uses thier 7 yr old daughter like bait to get what she wants and to controll my husband.she still loves him after 6yrs and uses any chance to just call him up and chat(daily)she can't stand me,being i married her husband(no he did not leave her for me)and limits my contact with thier daughter(can't spend time alone with her,not allowed in her school)even through the both have joint custody and the list goes on.so please there has to be other people like me in this situation how do you do it?please don't say tell you man to get some balls and tell his ex off becuase he will not.he has allready told me to except it or he is going to divorce me if i bring it up again.i keep hoping she will find someone and leave us alone but shes so nasty no one wants her.

Ok I want to go to this church party with my friend it is from 9PM-2AM. I am afraid to ask my mom again because the time before when I asked her she said are you crazy!?! That time was only two weeks ago. I am 13. I know even if I take her she won't like it. Christmas eve we went to my mother n laws. Well Christmas night my nephew broke out with measles. So of course me I'm a 1st time mom of a 5 almost 6 month old baby am freaking out. His doctor told me nothing he can do till he gets it but I read online otherwise Well now its been 6 days and I'm still worried. He isn't acting sick in any way just sleeping alot. I am 23 years old and a new mother. My father is dictating when I should or should not bring my 5 month old baby outside, when and what I should feed her at each specific stage, etc. I am an educated person with a bachelor's degree, I have read several "Baby's First Year" books from cover to cover, and I believe that I am credible enough to make my own decisions about being a mother. Of course I go by the book on most things, but instincts on others.
Delimma: I was outside today with my 5 month old (it's 60 degrees out today--comfortable if bundled up), and let her swing for her first time today. I took pictures of her smiling while on the swing and sent the pictures to my dad. He sent a phone text back saying, "Too young! Bring her back inside!"
My dad is constantly making comments like this. I wish I had some tasteful response to give to him when he says things like this.
Any suggestions on tasteful responses? Thank you, I appreciate it! :)

How long does it take for pregnancy symptoms to show? When does the HCG show? I missed my period I was suppose to get it December 14. I have been feeling tired when I wake up..sometimes my body feels weak or it hurts. Ive been having mood swings like crazy and its driving my partner crazy. Also sometimes my ears itch or they feel clogged. My face has a fine rash and my neck is itchy. I have eczema but I never get it on my face. And it seems like ever since I missed my period it has been getting worse. Sometimes I have a pain in my abdomen. I cant go to sleep at night...I wont fall asleep till like 5 am..and I wake up tired even when I do sometimes got to bed early. My eyes have been looking very week and tired. I took a pregnancy test 2 days before my period and 6 days after. I got a dark pink line and a reallyyyyyyyy light pink one..but I thought my eyes were playing tricks. So I got a blood test and they said it was negative. HELP

Now, obviosuly this may not work for everyone. But this has worked for my son, and I wanted to share this with all of you.

My son is is eight months old. He has been using a pacifer since he was born. He had gotten horrible the past couple of months. Not only could he not sleep without his pacifer he spent all day sucking on it too. One day we decided to just take it away. Yeah, that didn't work. He just screamed and screamed until we gave it back, and we waited all day to give it back. So.. We went and bought him some new ones because his old one needed replaced Up to this point we had always given him really soft ones. But he now has all four of his front eeth and had been putting holes in his pacifers, which is why we had tried to take it away. So we bought him a harder one, hoping he wouldn't break that. Well, when we gave it to him he freaked out because he couldn't bite it like his old one. After he a few days he simply stopped trying to bite it.
