I have a 6 year old cousin that still uses the bathroom in his pants. He do not have any health problems that I know of and he do not come from an abusive family. He makes up excuses like, "I did'nt know that I peed in my pants", "I really did'nt have to go, it just came", "I don't know why I did it",or the truth, "I did'nt want to go to the bathroom". I know his excuses are not truth because you can tell that he knows when he has to go to the bathroom. We would tell him to go to the bathroom, but he does not listen and would sit their doing what ever and pee or doodoo himself up.He does not do it all the time but it is becaming a problem. He looks up too me like a big sister, is there any thing that I can do to get him to undertand that he is a big boy and to stop being so in to what he is doing and go to the bathroom? When I try to tell him why he should or shouldn't do things he says that I am being mean and he covers his ears. How can I get him to understand that Iam not being mean?

My son says "free" for the word "three" and "boob-ring" for the word boomerang. He also omits beginning parts of some words, such as the word "computer". He would just say "puter". Other than trouble with saying words like those he is actually doing great in Kindergarten. I have tried to correct him since he was 3 and 4 years old and I thought by now something would have worked. When I correct him, he repeats the word to me the right way, so I know he really knows how it's supposed to be said, he just doesn't do it right when he's in conversation.

And what about how much he should be eating during the day now that he does not have formula. I am going to ask my doctor all this at his 12 month exam, but i would like to prepare myself. can anyone help?

Is the 'Shettles Method' the only theory on determining gender based on position? Some say this is an old wives tale-others tout increased percentages of success by using it (missionary for girl vs. rear entry for boy). What is the scientific, medical consensus on this? Can you increase the odds by position?

my son is 16 month old and since he was 3 months old, he has slept for 12 hours every night between 8 and 8 with a nap during the day. now recently, the past week, he has been waking up at 4am and not going back to sleep for at least two hours. i've tried cuddling him, giving him paracetamol, cooling him down, and nothing will send him back to sleep he doesn't seem unwell at all. i can tell he's still tired, but every time he puts his head down he starts crying again. not only is this driving us crazy, but i'm worried that something might be wrong, or am i being a paranoid mum. does every child go through this? is it just a phase? or are my full nights sleep over and done with???

I don't care who you are, every little kid is guilty of this, whether they knew what they were doing or not. Does anyone else have any ideas?

i bought a clear blue easy digital pregancy test earlier this year. it came with 2 test sticks. i used one of the test sticks at that time. the box indicated that the digital test holder can be used over again, as long as it is with a new test stick. i needed to test again recently, so i used the same digital test holder i bought earlier this year with the second test stick from the same box. the digital test holder seemed to no longer work, but when i ejected the test stick from the test holder, it had 2 blue lines. even though the digital screen did not read "pregnant" or "not pregnant", can i still tell by the 2 blue lines? if so, what do the 2 blue lines mean?

if you're surname is "Hoare"? So far we've come up with:
Aodh (Irish name, pronounced 'A')
Hugh
Scarlett
Annie
Adam
and obviously...
Randy.

What's the worst you can come up with? Ok, we're idle here and this is NOT intended to offend anyone with the name Hoare...

She's been at their home since Thursday. She just called me stating she wants to go home. I can't pick her up because I just put my car in the shop. Without ya'll knowing anything personal about us, should I feel guilty about wanting her to stay there until school starts January 3rd?

I am 28 weeks pregnant and only one breast leaks, not much not even enough to wet my shirt or anything just enough for me to feel that its wet. It has been leeaking since I was about 18-20 weeks but the other one hasnt leaked at all. Will the one catch up after I have my baby or should I tell my doctor? I know its normal to leak when your pregnant I just thought that both breasts would leak or at least with in a week of eachother.

Wal-Mart no longer carries onesies beyond 18 months and I've also tried Target and other brands. It seems that most stores I've been to don't carry onesies in bigger sizes. I like putting them underneath my son's (who is 2) clothes and pajamas. They seem to help keep his pants up too since he has such a skinny waist. Any suggestions?
