im ten and this boy is seven months older.He treats me like one of the boys and is funny.He and i got dared to kiss on the check and he was bragging.Also i gave him a christmas present and he was like thank you so sweetly and bragged a girl gave him a gift.But he's all over this other girl ginger.He hangs out with her alot and hasn't talked to me in awhile because he's hanging out with her.I'm confused can anyone help?

Girl get over him you deserve better I know it hurts but he's using you. guys that are his age tend to be wanting to be players and hes gonna brag about all the girls that like him or do things for him so it sounds like they like him.You should drop him get another one. Plus I think this stuff is good for you because we all learn from mistakes and getting used by guys . So I hope you learned something from this situation. Now YOU ignore him and soon he'll be wanting to follow you around and get attention from you. Have a little bad attitude toward him too.

Ten year old boys haven't even hit puberty. Has his voice broken? He's not "all over this other girl" at all. He's TEN YEARS OLD, not twenty. Or even my age (14).
I don't see why you're so confused. He wants to be friends with you and nothing more. TRUST ME.
If this is what the majority of my generation is growing up to become, I feel downright ashamed. When I was 10, which I'll have you know was only a few years ago, I wasn't worried about who liked me and who didn't. Because a few years ago, 10 year olds were more focused on school and less focused on schoolboys.
I strongly advise you to do the same. Save the relationships for at least middle school. You'll enjoy your childhood and teenage years much more if you worry about boys later.
Take my advice.... When I was 12, I made a big mistake with a boy who was a few years older. I didn't have sex with him (I'm still a virgin, and proud of it) but I went very far. Now, only two years later, I regret it.
You don't want to end up in that kinda situation before you start middle school.

Hey girl...just remember this boys will be boys. If he is treating you like one of the boys then he probably just sees you as a friend. Maybe you should ask him about the girl next time you see him. You will know by his response.

I think 10-year old boys have short attention spans. You should play it cool and pretend you don't care for a while. Talk to other boys, make fun of him (nicely) if ya get the chance...he'll be back or he won't, either way you won't waste your time. Which you have plenty of, being ten and all...so relax.

Well, I am a year older than you. I am still in this situation! This guy I didn't like before I thought he didn't like me and we use to talk on the Internet and a school and stuff. Now I like him and now I think he doesn't. Well, I think not and I think yes about your situation. I would ask one of your friends to ask him if he likes you. I know how you feel! (:

yes he probably does a little... but he probably likes every other girl who talks to him who is pretty as well..... boys that young are arent really looking for a serious relationship... yeah he likes girls, but isnt willing to make a commitment or anything.... they just talk to every girl they see... for example when he ignores you and talks to the other girl--- he likes her better, so he just forgets about you and talks to whoever. i say just forget about him.... no need to waiste your time on him, when he isnt going to be mature enough to handle anything with you [and only you] for quite a while....
