Ok I want to go to this church party with my friend it is from 9PM-2AM. I am afraid to ask my mom again because the time before when I asked her she said are you crazy!?! That time was only two weeks ago. I am 13. I know even if I take her she won't like it. Even though the church is of the Baptist which I am soo called "suppost 2 b" she won't like it cause it's not a First Baptist. I really really wanna go! How could I get to go?? Also this is a young teen party like 13-15.

omg! that sounds REEEALLLLYYY fun! i wanna go! lol, all i get to do is go to my "bff's" party and trail behind her while she talks to other ppl. and then whenever i finally decide to leave her, she comes and finds me and then feels all sorry 4 me and treats me like a hurt puppy.

well u should write a letter to ur mom, telling her the pro's and con's of going. and weigh it out.

I'm sorry but as a mom it's a little hard to believe that a church party for 13-15 yr old kids would be to 2 AM. Maybe you could have an adult involved with this party talk to your mom. You also could agree to come home a lot earlier. Have you asked her why? Have you acted like a young adult or did you act like a brat while talking to her about it. Baptist, maptist, I really think there is another reason for NO.

I would let you go if you were my child. Try asking her again. I am Baptist as well whats the difference between Baptist and first Baptist? She should be happy that you are trying to be out doing something positive. And something safe and clean. And for crying out loud its church! Good luck sweety!

You need to convince your mother now, it is up to her if you will or will not go.Ask friends parents who will be takin you there or volunteering to this event to guarantee your safety and ring you home in time. With a respectful attitude in asking permission to a parent/s is sometimes all it takes for approval. I am sure she will let you go, so ENJOY and have a HAPPY NEW YEAR

I wouldn't let you go either - not till 2 a.m. - I've never heard of a church teen party ending that late.

Maybe ask her if you can go until at least 12 am? Instead of staying until 2 am, cause that is quite a bit late.

Maybe you can ask her if you can go for a couple of hours instead of until 2 am. However, don't beg and whine about it, that will only make her not want you to go even more.

Did you explain it properly ? Get another adult person who knows your mom to call her and say 'we really like your daughter to be with us'.Otherwise you have to listen to your mom .Don't do anything against her wishes.Do you have a dad ? He could do something.
