Everytime someone has unprotected sex they risk pregnancy. Tell her to wait about 3 weeks from the last time she had unprotected sex and take a home pregnancy test if she doesn't get her period. Also, tell her to get some birth control!

Well she might be pregnant because unprotected sex is pretty close to a sure thing if it is during the right time. Most girls(including me) freak out if something like that happens and we think of the worst possible thing at that time. You need to talk to your friend just in case she is and if she is that tiny it might be fine as long as it's a healthy way, if she has an eating disorder that can severely hurt both her and her baby, the baby could end up dieing because it's not receiving the proper nutrition for it to survive. Also if she does have an eating disorder she could not be able to have a baby. I don't know all the circumstances but make sure you talk to her about that, and have her take a pregnancy test. Hope this helps.

Definatly not too young...I was 15 when I got pregnant, and my friend was 11!!! (yes, 11). When my sister got pregnant at 16, she only weighed 90 pounds. Her body made up for it, gaining 75 during the pregnancy(dont worry, it's all gone now, and even after another baby, she's still less than 100). I would however wait at least 4 weeks after the unprotected sex. Dont blame her for freaking out...it's scary to think about a pregnancy that age, so just listen, and if she gets a pregnancy test(at around 4-6 weeks after unprotected sex) then if she's pregnant, the dr would help with the weight(and age) issues.

Well, if she were pregnant she would have trouble I would imagine when she births it. Just because a girl is small, it doesn't mean that sperm can't make it's way to the egg. Fallopion tubes are only the size of a strand of hair.. and sperm much smaller. She'd probably be more likely to have a miscarriage though. Her size doesn't eliminate the possibility of getting pregnant.
You need to tell her first off that she needs to either get on birth control or start buying condoms if she's going to keep on with this behavior. During adolescence periods are always off schedule, so if it would bring her peace of mind get her a pregnancy test and be there for her. You can't just tell her she's not pregnant because if she is and she doesn't know, you'll have troubles farther down the road.
Not trying to scare you, promise. Just do what you feel is best, and I'm sure with this scare.. she won't forget to use a condom next time.

well, any woman can carry a child regardless the size of her. as for freaking out a week after having sex is stupid, technically she's not even pregnate yet, if she was. This girl is a perfect example why some people think that having sex is wrong before marriage. Because they are too immature and think everything bad is going to happen to them just because she shared a itimate moment with the opposite sex. I'd tell her to calm down and buy a test if she misses her period. until then the only thing she can do is grow up.

I would recommend this gal check with a pregnancy crisis centre or her local public health nurse. You are probably right in that it is too early to tell. She could wait another week or so and purchase a pregnancy test kit from the drug store. Or the pregnancy crisis centres usually have kits for free. If she finds she IS pregnant, she should get immediate health care. She may not be too small to carry a baby but could be open to difficulties which a doctor would want to follow up on. If she has had unprotected sex, another concern would be STD's (sexually transmitted diseases) She would be wise to get her doctor to check for these too - even if she is not pregnant. All the best to her and thanks for being her friend.

anyone can become pregnant. why did she go and have sex at 14? unprotected sex at that? she needs to see a doctor, then she needs to stop having sex. one more baby having a baby is not a good thing. tell her to smarten her a** up before she makes a big mistake. hopefully she hasn't already. tell your "friend" to get on the pill. it will regulate her periods, but make sure she isn't pregnant before, or it will cause birth defects. she needs to keep her legs closed until she is married and ready for a baby.

she can get pregnant, even if she is really small and young (I had a friend who weighed 70 lbs due to a bone marrow disease and she had a beautiful, healthy 5 lb baby and carried full term, her top weight only reached 90 lbs) but all that your friend can do is take a test in like 2 weeks to find out at this point

lots of people have birthed babies at that size...as for your friend you need to slap her for being so young and having unprotected sex...and she could possibly be pregnant but its too soon to tell she needs to wait a few more weeks and take a pregnancy test
