Pregnancy & Parenting - 28 December 2006

Okay, this is my 3rd child. With my first, I had a really bad case of polycystic ovaries so it was understood that I had missed a period then got pregnant. With my second, it was all fine.... So, I had a period August 1, 2006....At the end of September/begining of October the test showed positive, almost a month after missing my next period. So me and my midwife have been thinking this whole time that I was so far along...at supposedly 20 weeks I got my sonogram to make sure baby was okay, then found out I was only 15 weeks pregnant. This was a few weeks ago, I'm 17 weeks now, but I'm still wondering, Does this happen to alot of people or am I just the one in a million who have really weird pregnancies?

I can't afford hormonal birth control, I can't remember to take the pills. So, what are my other optionsof birth control? Of course, I'm goin' to a condom and please don't put "absitence". I personally do not produce milk. I breastfed for 2 weeks with my first and couldn;t understand why she was constantly at my breast and losing weight, until my lactation consultant figured out I just don;t make the stuff.

Some women are unable to do so because of past sexual abuse that makes it very hard for them to do anything of the sort.

That is why there is formula, a second best for sure...but if it was completely unhealthy then I imagine it wouldn;t be on the market...there are certain guidelines it must meet.

I just feel as though women need to try and understand each other before shoving opinions down everyones throat. My best friend has the market cornered on guilt...she went out a bought me a high end breast pump after we found out breastfeeding was not in the stars for me. I spent the entire time feeding my daughter her first bottle in tears because I felt like such a failure.

Lets try to be a little more compassionate maybe?

I went to the doctor yesturday and had blood work done because i thought i was having a misscarriage, and they called me today and said that i was not but they didn't tell me if i had a misscarriage.

Alright at first the doctors thought I had stomach or gallbladder problems, but didn;t do no test b/c I have no insurance..I was taking Aleeyse for a 1 yr 1/2 .. and now 2weeks I have been on Ortho Tril Cilcenin Low..About a 2 months ago I was on antibotics... Well Now for a month and a half I have been sick... I've had my periods both times....lighter... but still having them....My Breast are so sore.....I took 2 home pregances test but they turned out negative.... My doctor thought that I had a stomach virus, but had no fever or and signs and had me on a soup, popicle and saltine crakers...and I gain a little weight and within the last couple of months have gain 15pds....In my birth family having a period while being pregnant is I guess normal....But the doctor at the health center said since I had my period I didn't need to take a test... So I was wondering what you all think... Am I pregnant? Could I be? And when I get insurance should I get a blood pregances test done? Thank you !

I'm just an ordinary dude who has done lots of tough jobs like bricklayer's laborer, construction worker, night shift big city cab driver, bouncer/doorman, security, etc.
[I haven't been President yet. Just waiting for the call]

But the hardest job I ever tackled was looking after 2 girls (2 and 4 years old) for 2 weeks, 10am to 10pm for a working mother who could not find a sitter in the area.

What an edukation! Somehow I survived and they did too.
I gotta hand it to you ladies

ok im about to have a baby..im 16 and this is my first.but before you go to assuming things..i was raped 8 months.everything is fine with me and my son.and the rapist is behind bars.but i need help with what to do after Terrance is born...like excersizing..cause i used to be VERY little...i'm 5'4'' and i was 110 lbs. what are some easy fast excersizes to do?because im busy as it is..and when hes here it'll be more hectic..any tips will help..thank you.

Hi I don't know if this is the right place to ask this but I decided it was because I wanted to get some insight from some people my age.

Well first let me say I'm a 14 year old girl which doesn't really matter. But anyways here is my story...Almost a year ago February 12th my older brother who was 24 passed away.
