This ? is kinda hard because my hubby was 11lb 6oz so he ate rice cereal (37yrs ago) and his mom says everything else..I would talk to your childs Dr. GOOD LUCK

daughter drank about 4 to 5oz every three hours what u can do is put a little more in the bottle and go from there all baby are different and don't drink the same about all the time my baby is now 4mon and drinks a full 8oz bottle every feeding so don't starve the baby because someone said it's to much formula .good luck make sure baby is not throwing up alot after feeding or moving very watery bowels then you should spk to doc could be food milk allirges

If I remember correct, my son ate 4 ounces every few hours. My son is 12 weeks old now.

at 5 weeks i believe you should offer 4 ounces every 4 hours but he may not take it all

Breastmilk is SO much better for the baby and SO much more convenient for the mom! It would have been annoying to have to think about "how much" to feed my babies, let alone the concept of having to BUY & FIX formula.
