Alright at first the doctors thought I had stomach or gallbladder problems, but didn;t do no test b/c I have no insurance..I was taking Aleeyse for a 1 yr 1/2 .. and now 2weeks I have been on Ortho Tril Cilcenin Low..About a 2 months ago I was on antibotics... Well Now for a month and a half I have been sick... I've had my periods both times....lighter... but still having them....My Breast are so sore.....I took 2 home pregances test but they turned out negative.... My doctor thought that I had a stomach virus, but had no fever or and signs and had me on a soup, popicle and saltine crakers...and I gain a little weight and within the last couple of months have gain 15pds....In my birth family having a period while being pregnant is I guess normal....But the doctor at the health center said since I had my period I didn't need to take a test... So I was wondering what you all think... Am I pregnant? Could I be? And when I get insurance should I get a blood pregances test done? Thank you !

It's doubtful. Maybe your birth control pills just don't agree with you -- I gained a lot of weight when I tried them in college. Or maybe a thyroid problem? Home pregnancy tests are quite accurate, so I don't think you're pregnant.

I'm certain you're not pregnant, if you've dilligently taken your ortho tri-cyclen lo and not missed any pills the chance of getting pregnant is less than one percent. Did you do the Sunday start or day one start? If you did the Sunday start method.. and you had sex unprotected during the first week of taken it, there is a chance you can get pregnant then.. but you say you've had your period, and having your period is when you release a new egg etc. you know the drill, and get rid of the old. You can't be pregnant and have your period, if it would make you feel better you can check to see if you're pregant through a blood test.. but I'm pretty sure you aren't. I dont know what to tell you about your symptoms, hopefully you'll get insurance soon and you'll be able to find out.

If it is normal in your family to have a period while pregnant then get a blood test done! Make sure your doctor knows the situation about the family history and if you are pregnant then you can get state aid that will pay for any and all testing done pertaining to the pregnancy!

All of your symptoms, outside of the initial stomach ache are all side effects of the new pill. It can cause nausea, weight gain, breast tenderness, lighter flows...all of it. If your doctor is not convinced you are pregnant and multiple tests are coming up negative, plus you are still having your period. Then chances are no, you are not pregnant. Remember, your doctor trained for 8-10 years to make proper diagnoses.

i have a daughter and i am pregnant with my second child, and with both i got my period for like the first 4 months of my pregnancy. if i was u when u get insurance i would go and get one done just to be totally and positively sure. good luck with everything.

I think that if you have taken two tests and they both turned out negative then you are probably not pregnant, but I would wait another week then test again to be sure.

yes, go get checked. Not all women are the same, so what if you had a period??? Doesn't discard a pregnancy. The sooner u find out the better. Good luck hon!

you never never know.. i took 2 tests last week and then they came out negative... took two this week and both came out positive... so now i am pregnant!
do what you feel is right coz even my doc didn't beleive then i went back and was like... 'wots this then???'
