im 15 weeks pregnant and im wondering how long shud i wait before i start buying things for my baby, things like a pram and what have ya.

I have had iregular periods ever since I started getting them. I got pregnant very easily with our first child, now three and half years later we are trying for our second, it has been over a year and we still have not concieved. My periods were not on time when i got pregnant with our first child and they are still not regular, do irregular periods mean that I am not ovulating regularly, or at all?? I have an appointment with my doctor but thought I would get some tips or advice first. Thanks.

last period was on dec 5th..every weekend after that we've been trying to concieve..i think i might be pregnant.this morning i woke up at 2am because i needed to pee and i was bleeding no cramps nothing, after one wipe the blood was gone it was light pinkish... this morning i got up there was no blood...COULD THIS BE A SIGN OF PREGNANCY?

My mom and aunt wanted to get my daughter clothes for Christmas, so they asked her size about a month prior to Christmas. At 5 months old, she already weighed 18 lbs and was in 6-9 month clothing, so I told them anything from 6-12 months should be fine. (She was over 9 lbs at birth and is following her growth chart well.) She turned 6 months less than a week before Christmas, and had gained another pound. Well, she recieved a few outfits, but they were all 3-6 month clothing. I was dumfounded. I don't know if they think I was exagerrating her weight, or they just plain out forgot. They look like they were purchased on clearance, so I don't think I could have taken them back if I had said anything. What is the best way to handle this? My aunt wants to "see her" in one of the outfits when we come to visit next week.

In the movies and on TV throughout the 70's and into the 80's I recall several instances where a pregnant woman is in the bank or on the bus and says, "OMG! My water broke! I am about to give birth!" and then as everyone crowds around her to get a better look, someone always yells, "The baby is comming! BOIL SOME WATER!"

Any suggestions as to how to get him to sleep later? He's tired again by 7:30 or 8am. He goes down for the night by 7:30pm and is exhausted by then. Usually takes at least 1 and usually 2 good naps during the day (AM and PM) and he isn't hungry right away when he wakes in the morning.

Have you noticed some stores have "Expecting Mother's" Parking Space? I think they are neat but what if their was one of the signs for Expecting mother's and on the ground their was a sign painted handicaped, Can you still park there if your pregnant?

Have you also noticed Larger ppl whom arnt' Prego use the space to park as well?

I am sorry. But, I felt compelled to ask this!
I read about so many people complaining about today's children not getting the discipline that they feel children need. Are we jealous because they now have more rights than we did back then?
Before, a parent could take the "easy-out" and smack their kid. (Really that's no work) Now, we actually have to take the time and "teach" our kids. Yes, it's harder. But please! When in history, has the easy-way, ever been the correct way?
I believe that we have back-talking, mouthy kids because honestly, look what we adults do. Are they not just guilty of coping us?

My four month old daughter is waking up several times (more than 10 times ) during the night. She rubs her face a lot and the only way to confort her is the pacifier..It has been like that for the past three weeks. She sleeps in her crib. Can be that her face is itching (eczema) ? Sometimes after rubbing her face she develops a rash... But she only rubs her face when she wants to sleep... Or is a growth spurr?

The last time i got my period was November 27, 2006 i was suppose to get it December 25 according to mymonthycylce.com which it tells me when my period is due. I have cramps however im 3 days late. Can i be pregnant or am i just stressing out so much?

My step-daughter and her cousin did something wrong last month when her dad was away and when I questioned her about it, she lied to me. I did not beat her I just spoke to her about it and she was put on punishment. This morning I asked her a question and she lied to me. I asked her more than once because I knew she was lying and she still lied. I got so mad that I slapped her. Her dad thinks that I should not spank her because I am not her mother and he is trying to get his other daughter to live with us and if her mother knows that I hit her she may not let the other one come. Is it wrong for me to spank her or is it wrong for him to think that I should not spank her? He say I should tell him what she did wrong and let him deal with her but many times I tell him to talk to her and it never seems to happen. What should I do? If we divorce/separate I think it will be because of her.
We have a 7-month old and I do not want any bad examples to be set for him.

I think that I might have lost my mucus plug a couple of days ago, but I'm not really sure.. It was kind of an odd thing.. There was a little bit of bloody mucus, not a lot at all, but when I whipped there was a fair amout of light blood not so much to be alarmed about, but since then I have had increased discharge. I am 33 weeks pregnant, 34 weeks on sunday. What could this possibly be?

ive just used those cheap pregnancy strips (one step) and as i only had a small amount of urine i tested the strip by dipping it in horozontilly instead of verticlally - it came back neagative. could this have affected the result? also i am 2 weeks late on monday for my periods the llast 3 weeks i have been suffering from all the smptoms of early pregnancy i have had sex during the first week of december as we are trying for a baby, i already have 2 children thats why i know i am as i was like this with the other too, im really frustrated at the moment and was wondering if there is anyone with any advice or anyone in a similar situation - thank u

I had my tubes tied back in July. As of today, my period is 4 days late. I stopped in Wal Mart on my way to work and got a pregnancy test. I just used it and although it is extremely difficult to see, there is a second line. It's almost like a shadow of a line, and I can just barely see it. Is this to be considered a positive test? I'm so beside myself right now with...well I can't label what I'm feeling! Help??!!

I haven't lost my mucus plug yet. Do all women lose their mucus plug? Whats the earliest and latest that you've lost yours and how long after losing it did labor start?

I also need to get my blood pressure down and stop the swelling in my hands and ankles, any advice on how to do that other than putting my feet up and drinking more water?

i don't believe in abortions at all and she knows this, which is why she waited in telling me. i told her that i wasnt sure what to say and that was being honest, what do you say to someone that is suppose to be your best friend but they went and did something you dont believe is right, please help, i have no idea what to do and it really saddens me, i am 12 weeks pregnant now and when she told me my hand instantly went to my tummy and i just kept thinking how much i am grateful to have this child growing inside me, and she went and killed hers, i dont know what to do. any advice????

I had an incident where me and my boyfriend were dry humping. I am not sure the last time I got my period last month but a couple of days after this incident I started to bleed. I was so stressed out because I didn't know what to think so I think that this is why my bleeding is so light. The bleeding started and it hasn't stopped yet so I'm thinking I am on my period. Could this be my period? I think I got my period around this time last month but I am not sure.

I had headaches around my eyes for a few days. This is very uncommon for me. Then yesterday I started having gassy-like flutters in my chest followed by bouts of nausea, but no vomiting. I ovulated on the 18th of December 2006, it is now the 28th. Did anyone experience this while pregnant? Also my breasts are a wee bit tender... any ideas or thoughts would help! Thanks so much !
