you have been in labour 13 hours and your contractions are very close together. When the nurse checks your cervix, you still have not dilated. What are some problems? What happens.

well i had my baby girl this morning around 2 a.m (im on a cell phone in case your wondering how im on the internet and my baby is with the nurse)but does anyone know whats the black stuff that be around a babies lip and NO i dont smoke for you smart asses and another question my baby is mixed and she has no color will she get her color when she become older????plz help thanks

We have a 3 year old boy and a 6 month old daughter and he finally started interacting better with our son after our daughter was born but now he hardly does anything with her. He rarely holds her and when he does it's only for a few minutes and then gives her back to me, or if I am busy he'll put her in her bouncy seat or something. I've tried pointing it out to him and he just blows it off like I'm over reacting. But I'm not! He never does anything with her.

okay so, I am co-opening an home daycare. I am so nervous it hurts. I will have 2 infants, a 2 year old a 4 year old and two school age children(i think, they may be pre schoolers). I need advice on how to make the days go by smoothly. I have worked in day in commericial daycare with an assitant before and that was a breeze and i have worked by myself before also but with one age group at a time. Please give me some helpful tips on how to work with this wide range of ages. Thank you

If I was gunning for what a lot of people were going to think was a terrible name, I'd definitely want to know. But even the most polite "Sorry -- it makes me think of (bad association)," "It's too common," etc, gets thumbs-down aplenty in the 'baby names' section. Why on earth? If you're doing the thumbs-downing, pray explain?

Okay my last MP was on 12/7, I am a 27 day cycle. I beleive that I ovulated aroiund the 17th, well around the 20-now I have been having some BAD bloating, dull off and on cramping, little backacheand some breast tenderness on the sides. Is it possible that this would be a pregnancy sign or PMS? If Pregnancy this early? If PMS why would it b 2 weeks b4 my period? I am confused... PLEASE HELP! I just don't know what to think. ANy advice would be great and no me and DH weren't tryn we already have 2. :) Thanks!

ALSO normally if I do get ANY signs of PMS it is ussually 1-2 days b4 it starts. NEVER this soon. HHHEEELLLPPP

I was wondering.....I know that you gain alot of weight when your pregnant up until you have the baby, but, i have gained so much from the first two months.....i really dont know a really good method to get rid of it after i have the baby. I know exercise is the main thing but its also hard for women to lose weight. Is there anything else i could do with exercising or anything to help with it?

My friend and I are looking from answers from people, women mostly, who have been in this situation.

Megan, my friend, has missed a period, or I should say, is missing one right now. She's taken one pregnancy test, a few days before Christmas, and the result was negative. The problem is because her body is so irregular, and she's under some stress right now, we're not sure when her period was supposed to come. We've counted back from when she thinks her last period was, and it should be around now.

As soon as she wakes up today, we're planning for her to take the second pregnancy test. We looked it up on the internet and found that the First Response test has the most accurate chance of catching the HCG hormone 4 days BEFORE her missed period.

She has all of the signs of early pregnancy: tender but not swollen breasts, hungry often, tired all the time, dizzy spells, a slight cramping in her uterus, and she spotted about a week ago for less than a day.

What are your opinions?

So, I was looking at the toddler beds just to do so. I want to buy my son one since now I have the money for it, but I have no room to store it, so when I buy it I will have to set it up then and there. I looked at a bed and it said ready for babys over 15 months, my son's not quite there yet, but what I'm wondering is when he is older than 15 months is he ready for one? Or should I hold off until, when?

I mean I have poured everything into my daughter since birth. I could have given her up at birth, but I wanted to see if I could make a difference. After three years of struggling I met a wonderful man and married him, my soul mate!!! She hated him from day one even though he blessed her with everything. She made things really difficult between us especially when her two brothers came. She accused me of not loving her as much even though I assured her everything I was doing for them I had done for even better. Her clothes for infant life came from the finest stores theirs came from Wal Mart, her toys were store bought theirs sometime Garage sales, but even though she thinks in her Senior Year that we should sacrifice everything; so that she can have the finest of everything; because of her added stress I looked to alcohol for some relief, and she went and told the world I was an alcoholic. I find myself wanting her to finish school and just get out!!! I don't know this child!!!

Okay. About 4 weeks ago i had sex. I had a blood test done but it was done way before my missed period, like 2 weeks after we did something, it was negative. Now, almost 2 weeks later my breasts are really sore and i havent gotten a period yet, could i be pregnant? could the tests be wrong? im still waiting for a period, its not late yet.
