i actually used one to detect that i was pregnant and it worked! my husband didn't trust it so i got another one at the dollar store and it was positive too. always the skeptic he bought a more expensive one at the drugstore which of course came out the same. he said that he didn't want to get his hopes up if the dollar store test was bad. heh. the dollar store ones detect the same hormones are the ones at the drugstore. sometimes the hormone level needs to be a little higher than some of the more sensitive expensive ones but it still works!
best of luck!

yes they are good----every pregnancy test detects the same hormone so it wont change---even if u go to like Target or Walmart u will find some cheap ones and some real expensive ones---but at the end they all give you the same result. Take a cheap test and if it comes back positive---well then go to ur clinic and take the test again.

They are measuring the hormones in your urine that are increased during pregnancy...they are good to get a general preliminary positive (any OTC pregnancy test) but should be followed up with a blood test at the doctor office to measure the hCG in your blood.

Yuppers. They generally detect somewhere between 25-50 mIU/ml.

I think it's illegal to intentionally sell something that doesn't work. So yes, when it's sent to the store (whether it's the drugstore or the dollarstore, it's SUPPOSED to work.
