Well they say nothing in the vagina (tampons, sex) usually for 6 weeks.

I'm not gonna hate on you like everyone else. I don't agree with abortion personally, but I am prochoice. It is a personal decision, but as far as the tampon thing goes...I wouldn't use one right away, probably your next period should be okay, but you may want to wait even longer than that, I know pads are nasty, but with a tampon you would be more likely to get an infection after this procedure.

Hey! I am sorry you have to ask this question, but the normal wait time is until your next menstral cycle. The reason this is, is because you must let the blood come out to not contaminate anything else. It is safer to wait until your next cycle.
P.s. Dont douch either.
good luck

If you've aborted a child, please visit http://Abort73.com to confront the truth about what you have done. For free post-abortion counseling, visit http://www.healinghearts.org
Using tampons should be the least of your worries right now.

I hope you know that you just killed an innocent life-not tissue-a living baby whose heart was beating and who had tiny fingers and toes.Babies can feel pain as early as 6 weeks-it could feel the abortion.
Use protection in the future or else choose adoption.I was almost aborted until someone offered to adopt me after my birth mom had me.I would not be here today-think about that!

Wait until your next checkup (usually 6-8 weeks) after you've had the procedure.
Sorry you had to read some of these really "great" answers from "unselfish" people. Good luck.
