Eating fast food is not really bad for your baby or will affect the baby's growth. A lot of people assume that being pregnant means you have to stop what youve been doing before, but its really not like that. Jus cuz you're carrying a baby doesnt mean you have to change everything. When your not pregnant, eating out everyday isnt too healthy either so pregnant or not, as long as you dont go overboard, you'll be fine :)

what are you eating at the fast food places and why are you eating it daily? if there is a time concern, try your best to get the healthiest options available, like a baked potato instead of fries. Wendy's has a granola strawberry yogurt And one of the fast food places has a fruit cup. I think it was Arby's... You can also hit places like Quizno's or Subway, but make sure you get it toasted so that the lunchmeat gets cooked. You do not want cold lunchmeat. I watched what I ate during my pregnancy as much as possible. I allowed myself some french fries one every couple months. And I limited my caffeine to one serving a day maximum. My doctor told me that too much sugar will make the baby fat, but that proteins will make him strong. (so I tried to fit in more eggs and dairy - I am not a big meat eater)
I ended up with a very healthy 9 pound 5 ounce baby who was born two months ago. He is such a happy guy and smiles all the time. I believe that my diet while pregnant along with how his father and I treat him are part of what makes him so happy. He's not fussy or colicky at all... just when he needs fed or changed, etc.
Remember that your diet will also effect how you feel... swollen feet, nausea, tired, etc. And it will impact your delivery.

If you mean fast food for all three meals every day, yeah--that's probably pretty bad for you. If you mean a small fries from McDonald's in the afternoon as a snack, or a Happy Meal for lunch (but you eat very healthy the rest of the day) I really doubt that'll hurt you or your baby much at all. When I was pregnant with both my kids, I craved those 7-Eleven Taquitos (very greasy!) and Wendy's frosties every day during the last few months of my pregnancies. I did eat pretty healthy the rest of the day, but every night I had my poor husband drive out to get me a Frosty and a few taquitos, LOL. Both my kids were born (and continue to be) good size, happy, healthy, normal, well adjusted children. They're 18 and 33 months old, respectively.

It's already pretty bad if you eat fast food daily when your're not pregnant.
If you're just eating fast foods then the nutrients that you pass on to you child will be very minimal. Fast foods are filled with trans fats with barely any vitamins or fibers.

Most fast foods do not lend themselves to healthy eating, though some fast food places do offer a limited selection of healthier foods. If you are with a group of people who wish to go to a fast food place, you could suggest a place that would have some selections that are not high fat.
Healthy eating habits are important at all time, but even more important during pregnancy. Your nutritional needs are higher at that time and how you eat can affect the child you are carrying.
Congrats and I hope your delivery is uncomplicated and I wish you a healthy child!

OKAY it is not bad to eat fast food daily while pregnant. I did. I live off of Taco Bell chicken soft tacos and nachos. I also ate alot of Burger King chicken sandwhiches and hamburegers. It is fine as long as you have a vegitalbe or fruit here or there don't drink soda get water. Take your prenatels and just moderate what you eat out. eat something at home for breakfast. Eat a salad from Mcdonalds or burger king and something else. The go head and pig out at dinner. I remember I made my husband go at 2 am to burger king and get me a hamburger becuase I was hungry. Fast food resturants have some healthy foods you can have those along with a burger and fries there is nothing wrong with it. My son came out healthy and there is nothing wrong with him. He just turned a year old and he weighs a good 22 pounds.

Although you may have the cravings for it, it may not be the best thing for you or the baby.
You know how smoking or drinking can, aside from hurt the baby, give them an inborn dependancy on the drug? Some researchers suggest that if the mother eats a lot of fattening foods while pregnant it could cause the child to crave the same things which could leard to an obsece child in the future.
I'd cut down on it. It's not good for you. Sure you have that baby in you and you need that extra fat, but you can get good fats and good carbs from beans and veggies and whole grains. You're growing another human being in you and you're feeding it what you feed yourself. Think of when this baby is born and it's a child--would you feed that child fast food every day?
It's a craving and you want to satisfy it, we all want to satisfy our cravings whether we're pregnant or not, but I think you know if we all did that with every craving, we'd be much bigger than we are and much more unhealthy, too.
Try to cut back, not just for you but for the baby, too.

Only some of it. McDonalds sells salad, most fast food places do now. Grilled chicken is not so bad, there are usually at least a couple healthy things to pick from.
