Babies that young can get dehydrated very easily. Give him Pedialyte if you have any in the house. If you do not have any see if someone will run out and pick some up for you. In the meantime give him what ever liquid he likes just to keep him hydrated. Do not feed him ANY solid food. That is very important, it will just cause more diarrhea. I know it is hard when they want to eat but it is for the best. Keep him on a liquid diet and call your doctor. If he has it for more than 24 hours, or if he shows signs of being dehydrated, please take him in and let the doctor evaluate him! This can be a serious thing, do pay attention to it.
Take care and I hope all goes well.

Keep him hydrated. He needs pedialyte. What kind of diarrhea is it? Is it really really smelly? If it is he might have the Rota Virus. That is some very nasty stuff. Take him to the doctor if he gets really sick!

My kids hate Pedialyte (I think it tastes terrible) but will drink Gatorade so try that too. If it continues through the day take him to your doctor as dehydration is very serious for a little one.

Give him active culture yogurt. It really helps with that. That is always what my kids doc says. I believe that yogurt with dora on it is active culture. Just look on the label and it should say live or active culture yogurt.
