my period was due on the 27 december. how long shall i wait before i take a pregnancy test. helpppp and i know having unprotected sex was a dumb thing!!

IF YOU MISSED YOUR PERIOD THEN YOU CAN TAKE IT NOW IF IT IS NEGATIVE THEN TRY TO TEST AGAIN IN A WEEK. IF IT IS STILL NEGATIVE AND NO PERIOD GO TO THE DOCTOR FOR A BLOOD TEST.

The good news is: generally, that late into your cycle, there's a lot lower chance of pregnancy. The bad news: there's still a chance. However, any over-the-counter pregnancy test should be effective within 2-3 days of a missed period. Keep in mind that stressful situations, like holidays, can also delay your period, so don't panic.
As an aside, I would recommend that you find a method to keep protection on-hand for these kinds of situations, specifically, barrier protection like condoms. I think your bigger concern at this point should be the transmission of disease, and reducing your risk in the future.

your not dumb you just got caught up in the moment. try to not to forget it again though. its not just making baby you have to worry about these days. anyway you can take your test now. i would take a name brand one they work better then the cheap off brand ones. buy one with two test in the box . that way if you do it wrong or it comes back neg and then in a few days if you still don't have a period you will have the extra test at home with you. follow the directions to the letter good luck .

That was only yesterday. Its always best to take a pregnancy test though. Better safe, and to know now, then drive yourself crazy & waiting for a doctors visit. But !!, if you notice subtle changes in your body go to the doctor ASAP.

No there's no possibilities of being pregnant. because your era are all started after the sex. yet you need to be careful at the same time as having unprotected sex. I propose you to apply protection at the same time as having sex in case you do not opt for to get pregnant.

You can take it now. You should also get a prescription for the morning after pill and stock up! It's a lot easier to use if you've got a few in your medicine cabinet!

wait a few days like 3-4 days then take a pregnancy test or go to the doctors. yes it was stupid but people make stupid mistakes all time. i do too. let me know how it goes. chow!
