I am trying to decide between Lillian(Lilly) or Lynnlee. I have always wanted Lilly but find it's become really popular and would like a unique name. I think the middle name will definately be Francine, after my husbands grandparents Frank(Francis) and Maxine.

I like Lilly! I think it sounds adorable. I'm going to name my daughter Isabella...it has become very popular too which makes me sad. I want her to have a unique name. Overall, I think you should pick the name you want regardless of how popular it is.

Lillian is better than Lilly. Lilly is way too common nowadays. I don't like Lynnlee. It sounds like a mouthful!

Lillian Francine sounds good.

I think that Lillian Francine has a nicer ring to it. If Lilly has become to popular for your liking then save the name and change the nickname. Maxie after grandma would work. Just a thought

I think Lynnlee is cute BUT she would definitely be called Lynn which I don't care for as a first name.

I would go for Lillian Francine. I also like Lillyanne Francine.

I like Lillian. Lynnlee is a little odd, in my opinion. I'm sure other people love it, but I'm trying to be honest with you because that's what you can expect to get on the street when people ask her name.

Francine is lovely, don't listen to anyone who disagrees. It's her middle name!

As for L names that are unique....

Lilith, Laine, Lorraine (:D), Lark, Lara, Lavender, Leala, Lorelei, Layla, Leila, Leighanna, Lena, Lenore (the most famous use of this name I can think of is in a really sad Edgar Allen Poe poem), Leona, Luna, Leauna, Louisa, Leslie (more popular, but I'm seeing less Leslies these days), Leora, Lexine, Lila, Lilah, Lilac, Lilia, Lilianna, Lilliana, Lira, Lisbet, Liseli, Livia, Lachlana, Logan (works for either, but you'd want a really feminine middle name to go with it), Larissa, Lorena, Luca, Lucille, Laurel, Lunette, Lydia, Lynnea, Lyric, Lyris.... there's tons more, but I can't think of any others....
