I agree, breastfeeding is an excellent way to get back to your prebaby weight. I was 16 when I had my first. (I was just stupid, dumb kid though, feel free to assume away.) Anyway, I breastfed my little boy at 16. I just figured, that I would have more, someday, when I grew up and got married. If I didn't breastfeed my first, I would feel like crap for doing it for the others. I ended up nursing him longer than the other 3 combined. (Not by choice though. I would have loved to be able to nurse them all until they were 6 months, if I'd had the chance.) I lost all my pregnancy weight plus 3 pounds by the time he was a month old. They also make exercise videos for new moms, things they can do with their babies. Other than that, eat right, play with your baby, you'll be busy enough to loose some weight on your own. Good luck!

Get a baby carrier and take the baby around with you as extra weight for an exercise. There are also lots of work out videos that cram everything into just a few minutes. When you are sitting and feeding the baby do some legs lifts. You can find all sorts of times during the day to throw in some exercise while your doing other stuff.

I was the same size as you before I had my son! I can tell you this, you will have to wait to exercises after you have the baby for at least 6 weeks untill you have your follow up visit. After it though, you can start doing more like crunches and push- up's! Walking will be your best friend for a while. Putting the baby in his stroller and taking a walk in the park or the mall will be good for you and the baby! One thing you must know though is it take approximatly 7 years for a womens' body to return to her normal size after having a baby. Especially if you have him naturally! But hang in there, and I hope the best for you and your new son!

When I was pregnant I worried about loosing my weight also, but you'll be surprised how it just naturally falls off. It just taked some people longer to loose it. To start though, breastfeeding will help you a lot, also drink a lot of water, don't eat fried or fast food, and salt can make you swell, so try to cut that out also. Congrats on the baby!

Oh, dear. I'm sorry to hear that but best of luck with your baby! Terrance is a very pretty name. Whatever you can get to, walk around with your little boy and just don't sit around all day. I admire you for your bravery.

I'm about the same size plus 10 lbs. After each of my babies, I walked up hill with the stroller every day for about 30-60 minutes. I also stopped eating lunch. I just ate small healthy snacks thoughout the day (no leftovers for lunch) about every 3-4 hours. Then, I ate sensible dinner with my family and didn't eat after dinner. Breastfeeding really helped me lose weight (after about 4 mo.), but that doesn't help everyone. Best of luck to you on this journey!

I assume you have gained a considerable amount of weight since pregnancy (well over 20 pounds). Sit-ups and leg lifts will help immensely, as many as you can do!!! 100 a day if possible. You will need to watch your food intake as well after your baby is born, if you want to lose weight. Try your best not to eat after 5:00 p.m.!!!!

Good luck!!!!!

well your doctor probably wont want you to do anything strenuous for about 6 weeks after your baby is born. walking is probably the best thing you can do at this point, and when baby comes he will enjoy the walks too. Good luck to you

the very best thing for both of you to do is put him in a stroller and go walking be it in the mall down the road or in the park it is good for both of you and if life is that hectic the time you spend walking will be relaxing for you both good luck with your baby

After the baby is born try walking...put him in a stroller and walk (whether it be around the neighborhood or around your local mall). That's what helped me and breastfeeding helps a lot also! Lots of luck honey!!
