I think as long as you are not huge, which would really be uncomfortable for you. It wont HURT the baby, but am quite sure it might not like being squeezed a different way. New positions sometime make them strive to get back in the "old " position.

I had to sleep on my left side with a pillow between my legs, esp. when I became big enough that the baby leaned on organs. If you sleep on your left, the organs rest ON TOP of the baby, instead of the baby leaning ON the organs (which causes heartburn/ acid reflux). It is NO FUN waking up in the middle of the night with a shot of stomach acid going up your throat.

As my doctor told me (because I am a belly sleeper) sleep however you are comfortable for now!! as you grow, your body will determine how you need to sleep. You wont be able to sleep on your belly around the time that it could do damage. SO, worry not. Enjoy sleeping on your belly while you can..because a tummy is sure to follow real soon!!! Good luck!!!

I asked my Dr during my last appointment. She said it was ok, that when it gets uncomfortable for me my body would tell me and I would stop trying to sleep on my belly! Good luck!

22 weeks with my 1st!

When you get bigger that will not be an option. They say you need to try not to, but if you wake up and find yourself that way just roll over. I slept on my side and part of my stomach with a pillow under me. Good luck, you will need the rest now.

As long as you are comfortable it will be okay. There will become a point when it will not be comfortable anymore. That is when you should stop. Also, you might want to ask your doctor when you see him/her, they might have a different opinion. I believe it is best to follow the directions of your doctor.

If it is comfortable... go ahead. I used to LOVE it too but then when I got pregnant the first time, it was just uncomfortable.

i'm 5 months pregnant and my wellness care expert hasnt mentioned something to me approximately how i'd desire to be drowsing, all she has extremely mentioned is that, you will desire to be getting as lots sleep as attainable, and basically make certain you're mushy. i comprehend this doesnt extremely help that lots, yet i could assume that it somewhat is high-quality form what my wellness care expert has advised me. Congratulations and sturdy luck!!

when the baby grows and it gets uncomfortable, lay on your side and get a body pillow to support your stomach
