I love it ! I think unique and unusual names are nice. I work with children and get sick of hearing the favourites over and over again

I'm all about unique names. I'm not big on extremely weird ones, but I do like yours. I really do like your unique spelling of both names (my name is Ashley - extremely plain and common), but my personal opinion about the middle name is that it is overused (pronounced "mah-ree", correct?).
I know that you are not looking for alternatives, but perhaps consider a middle name that is more unique as well, maybe even one that you could use as a nickname later (for example, if you used Jade, you could call her AJ later). Just a thought.
No matter what, I appreciate your uniqueness, even if just in spelling. Your daughter may or may not like it at first, but I believe that eventually that she will appreciate the fact that you put some thought into her name so that there are not 3 or 4 other kids with the same name in her classes as she grows up (I always hated that!).
I wouldn't worry about other kids making fun of her. Kids can be mean, but there are a lot stranger names out there that are not being made fun of (for example, I know a student with the last name of Doodah, and no one bothers him). Just make sure that you teach your daughter to stand up for herself against those who may tease her - besides, more often than not, people get teased because the people teasing them are jealous.

I think the name alijah is very common now a days. i like to be unique as well, i named my son Zaire. If your going to name your child a name meant for boys and girls i like the name region or something along those lines.

It's a really cute name but you have to think about the fact that your daughter is going to have to learn to spell that some day and also probably going to spend a lot of time correcting pronunciation. When I first saw it I thought it was a different way of spelling aaliyah because some languages have a silent j. I still like the name though!

It is definitely different, she won't have to worry about others in her class sharing it. I think on paper the name appears beautiful, however I would pronounce it slightly differently so when called out on roll call the expectation is not for a boy to answer back. That could become very embarrassing for her. Just a thought but overall I like it.

It's really pretty. She'll definately be the only one in her class with the name and Aliah is a name but it's more common. If people say it's a boys name, so are Michael, Ryan, Chandler, Logan and Kyle (I've heard them as girls). And Marie is such a common middle name so I like the different spelling,

It's unique and it's cute but people are going to get it confused with Elijah and you don't want her to have to correct everyone all the time

It's an okaaaay name... I know you don't want other options, but if you're going to have an abnormal first name, make the middle name normal, like Marie/ Mariee instead of Maree...
