My son is 3 months old. We read all the time and I try to play games that will stimulate his mind, but I need some more tips.

So does anyone have some good games/songs/whatever to help stimulate him?

I don't remember from last time, and I am 3 1/2 months and I can feel my tummy pushing out from the inside... is this cause the fluid increase, making the uterus bigger... I have felt this since last night. It doesn't hurt, but I can feel it, and it is exciting but weird.

Can someone please help me with this? I have been on birth control for 10 years and the dr just took me off of it the last week of November because I started having bad reactions from it. I got married the week after i went off of it and I had my menstrual cycle from Dec 3-6. Me and my husband want to start a family soon, so we have not been using any form of birth control. For the past couple of days i have been having this heavy feeling in my stomach - like something is pulling down on it. I am having these mild pains on the left and right sides of my abdoman - kinda like menstrual cramps - but i shouldnt have another period for about a week and a half to two weeks. Also every morning when i wake up I am SO HUNGRY! I have to eat before i can function and before i went off the pills i did not eat breakfast most days and it did not bother me.Can someone please give me some info on what could be going on? Could i be pregnant or is it just my body adjusting to the absense of bc pills?

My husband and I just found out last week that we are pregnant for the first time. We were off the pill for well over a year trying. Some great friends of our have been trying for over 4 years. They just has invetro last month and it didn't take. It was VERY devastating for both of them. We have been trying to figure out the best time to tell them. I know that they will be happy for us but I know that it will hurt them a bit too. If anyone has any suggestions on how or what to say please let me know.

No, I do not think I'm a better mother because I breastfeed, however I do want what's healthier for my baby and I feel that breastfeeding is. Many mothers that I've talked to absolutely refuse to even try breastfeeding as an option. They look at me like it's barbaric or something. They say, "Oh, I tried it once, but it hurt, so I switched to formula...ect..." So, I say, if you play the guitar, wouldn't it take a while to develop caluses on your fingers until you get used to it? Same thing with breastfeeding, of course it will hurt at first, but then you get used to it. What is wrong with mothers these days? Is breastfeeding something that women are embarrassed of or is it just the laziness of our society?

I have always wanted 3 children. My husband just wants children, he isn't picky about the number, "as long as we can afford them".
We recently bought a wonderful house with 3 bedrooms. We are in love with this house and the neighborhood and don't plan on moving any time soon, if at all. My issue is that there are only 2 bedrooms for the kids. If we have 3 kids, two will have to share. With only 2, no one has to share. We don't have a basement or bonus room, so the only place for them to "play" will be their bedroom or the family room. What do you think?
Also, is the cost of raising 3 kids significantly more than 2 kids?

Hi,

I am 9 weeks pregnant and am suffering from pains in my pelvic area, they hurt when I stand up suddenly or if I suck my stomach in, Does anyone know what these could be? I have had an early scan as I had a slight bloody discharge and the nurse checked for ectopic pregnancy and I cam back clear. I also had a urine check yet I have a slightly green discharge and still bleed slightly after getting intimate with my husband, Can anyone help on this matter?I have had it checked by Dr's but they just say it is nothing to worry about, it would just be nice to know why I am getting these stabbing pains

I am a para at a school that the kids don't have a lot of discipline at home, so they come to school and act out in the same way. I witnessed the other day a child pushing another child down, I said no. That is all I said, and the principle told me not to say that. I should go over and ask questions. Have we, Americans, gone over board, now we don't punish the child. Why? I mean when I was growing up, I was scared of my principle. Have we gotten soft?

I had my baby dec 10th and everything went fine, I came home fine, since yesterday every once in awhile more so in morning I feel really light headed sometimes even dizzy. Is this normal? I dont remember this with my daughter. I also have lots of pressure in my face like sinuses. Could this be causing the dizzyness?

i had unprotected sex with my bf on the 12 and 19th day of my cycle. my cycle is 29 days my last pd was 11/20...however that one was late it was really due 11/9....right now i have no symptoms of a pd i usualy get severe cramps for a wk up until the day of my period. however this isn't the case. i'm mostly tired, sleepy and slightly naseous and dizzy...is it possbile i'm prego if my pds have been irregular?

Recently found out my partner has a sperm count of 12.5millionl/ml and bad motility. We have been reffered to a fertility clinic but have not yet got an appointment. I was holding my daughter's hand and lifted her up by her hand/arm to carry her over a puddle on the street - do you think that would have hurt her arm? I worry that by doing that it would pull her arm out of its socket?

I hope I didn't hurt her.......
