If you would be more comfortable with him in there ask for him to come in. If you would be more comfortable without him ask the doctor privately to check u alone. Or maybe you'd like a girlfriend or relative. It's your body so ask as many questions as you need.

Yes, he can be there. It is your right. My hubby has been there for every single appointment and every single procedure. If for some reason your doc requests that you be alone...get a new doc!

How old are you? The man can go anywhere he wants at anytime during the pregnancy. It's his baby too.

well i am 20 weeks pregnant and at my first visit they let my husband come in with me . i think it is up to you. good luck and congrats on your pregnancy.
