Pregnancy & Parenting - 13 December 2006

I am also spotting a little. Little spots of brownish red. My stomach is getting big and my period hasn't come yet but I am still exercising and doing sit-ups and I am not ready for pregnancy especially when my mate says he didn't get me pregnant. Now I am wondering if I am pregnant or not.

I think she is way to young and has a life in front of her. My mother see the baby as child # 8.( which I am the Oldest of) My sister will do what she is told.She is terrified Icant be the only one that sees it. I want to tell her se has an option. I just dont know how with out being chastized. Then I will be un able to help at all. Did I mention No One was aware until yhey had to do an emergancy c section that she was pregnant. You think you would know,but you would be suprised on wht a baggy t shirt and some nevity can hide.

This question is for mothers... I've read and heard that it's good to clean the stump with alcohol but then I've read and heard that it's better to just let the stump be and it'll dry up faster and fall off on its own. I just want to know what did you do with your newborn and how long did it take for the stump to fall off?

This month I only took the first few days of birth control and then decided to stop for specific reasons. It seems like I have a light period.. Is this normal? Should I expect a "normal" 5 day period. Or did I screw myself over and get pregnant?

He has a rash on his forehead, do you think it's because the tree was a spruce? By the way, it's not my baby.... It's my friend's baby he knocked over the tree. It didn't have any ornaments or lights, thank heaven's sake.... He got the rash and we put baby lotion and it won't go away. He didn't cry when it fell, but I just want to make sure. Can someone be allergic to spruce?

I am 15, and pregnant. the babys father is 16. we've been together for a year. i go to school and so does he. i'm scared that i could never be a good mother. i never had to care for anyone else but my self and now its this little person living inside me...... it feels weird. i think i am going to fail... i love babys but i can't see me with my own. and im getting fat. i'm scared. can somebody please tell me what to do?

Me and my wife are into very unique names, we are making sure that our daughters will have to go through their life spelling their names for people, but we also like common names so we are talking extremely common names and giving them weird spelling so DOUBLE TROUBLE for our little bundles of joy!

I lost my mucus plug a week ago tomarrow.I have been cramping ever since then.Last night I woke up to contractions 8 min. apart but when I forced myself to go back to bed(because I know how long labor takes) When I woke up the next morning they were gone but I still have the cramping and now all day I've felt like I have to go poop.I did this morning and it was all normal but the feeling never went away.I know kinda alot of TMI!! I've recently been having light-headedness, nausea, heartburn (which I had with my first two pregnancies), dizziness, extreme fatigue...I took an HPT the other night but it was negative. What are the odds that it's just not showing up, but I am pregnant anyway? One of my friends never got a + HPT in the 1st trimester with any of her 3 pregnancies...what are the chances? How long do I wait before getting a blood test (since I have no idea where I am in my cycle, IF I'm even having a cycle)?

I posted a question earlier today about my 4 yr. old nephew telling my brother that my son(10)put his "pee pee" in my nephews mouth. I did not want to immediatly say that my nephew was lying, but I also didn't want to just automatically say that my son did anything wrong. There was a situation involving my stepkids a few months ago (I think some people who answered my last question got confussed and thought I was saying my son was involved in that past situation, but he was not) and I immediatly thought that maybe one of my stepkids might have done or tried something with my son. I pulled my son out of school today to try to get to the bottom of this, and he is swearing it is not true. I told him that he didn't have to be afraid to tell me if something had happened to him or if something had happened between him and my nephew, and that he would not be in trouble. He still kept swearing that nothing happened and that he is not lying. I know that my brother believes his son,------->

I'm 26 weeks pregnant with my first and am very confused about what I'm able to receive as far as pay during maternity leave. I'm employee through a temp agency and am not using their insurance, I'm using my husbands, do I still get disability leave? Also, how does the 6 weeks bonding law work?
