Yes! You can go to see your doctor and get your blood drawn because they can detect the pregnancy hormone as early as 6 days after conception. Many women don't get a positive HPT until they are about 2 months along.

You took the test too early. If you take another one today you should get an accurate result. I have had one negative pregnancy test and I ended up finding out that I was pregnant, but I took one of those tests that say you can take it up to 5 days before you miss a period!

Yes, if you took the test less than a week after the intercourse which fertilized the egg. The fertilized ovum takes around one week to travel down the fallopian tube before implanting in the endometrial lining and producing HCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) the pregnancy hormone. Try testing again in a few days.

yes it didn't show on a home test until I was almost 3 months go to the doctor for a blood test if you are concerned about it. You are only 4 days late so I wouldn't worry much give it a couple weeks and do another one

yes, it can take up to a week after conception before the hcg level is high enough in your urine to trigger a positive urine test. Sometimes women never have a positive urine test. Your best bet would be to either wait till you are closer to a week late or go and have a blood pregnancy test done by your doctor. good luck

yes, depending on how far along you are and how high your hcg levels are you could get negative results and still be pregnant. your best bet is to go to see your doc if you still haven't gotten a period or a positive test in a few days.

with hpt's you c an get false negatives, but not false positives. i would wait a few more days and retake the test. sometimes doing it too soon can result in a neg. because there is not enough hcg in your system yet. good luck.
