This month I only took the first few days of birth control and then decided to stop for specific reasons. It seems like I have a light period.. Is this normal? Should I expect a "normal" 5 day period. Or did I screw myself over and get pregnant?

Your body will be out of whack for a little while--my best friend stopped taking hers, and she got her period a week late.

If you're having unprotected sex, there's a possibility that you could be pregnant. The best way to tell is to take a home pregnancy test after you're late, with your morning urine. The best way to do it is to pee in a cup and then let the stick sit in there for about 20 seconds. That way you don't have to worry about being all over yourself.
