My son is 22 months old and he is absolutley insane. His sister is 14 months older than him, and they fight, but he is amazing. He will scream at the top of his lungs(blood curdling), thow himself down(and bang his head), then bite what is ever in front of him. He also throws things if he happens to have it in reach. I know 9 times outta 10 he is just pissed cause his sister doesn't understand the concept of sharing.(Nor does he for that matter). Is it best to ignore it? Scold him? Time out him? He is very sensitive and cries with scolding. My daugter is a whole different issue.....how do I deal with my sweet little boy?

My friend Kelly is *extremely* pregnant with twins(about 7 months). We go baby stuff shopping a lot, and to her doctor's appointments.

When we are out walking, men and women will randomly walk up to her and put their hands on her stomach. Sometimes children, too, but Kelly doesn't mind that as much.

Anyway, Kelly will calmly and nicely tell the stranger that she is uncomfortable with people touching her stomach, and instead of apologizing, most of the people get a major attitude and storm off. One man even had the nerve to say "Well then don't be pregnant!!" We had never seen this man before!!

Kelly doesn't feel like she has to stay in her home until she has these kids. I've even gone as far as to get her a t-shirt that says "Unless you're a doctor, HANDS OFF" that everyone finds highly amusing (even strangers).

Why do people view pregnant women's bellies as common public area, and why do they get so offended when nicely asked to keep their hands to themselves?

I was teaching my son the basics on starting a business and he wanted to accually start one. He found that small plastic figures are a wanted item in a club at his school. He obtained some from me off of ebay and brought them to the club and asked the teacher about selling them. The teacher himself had sold out all of the ones that he had which he was selling for the same amount ($1.25). So my son's business is started and he received 9 orders in the first time. He's estatic, having fun, the other kids love the new figures and my child is making a little money as a business.

Mother comes in to the picture.

"You don't have a business"
"You're too young"
"Your father dosn't know the first thing about business"
"I'm going to complain to the principal"
"Your not alowed to sell things in the school"

I know that if she goes to the principal, the teacher just might get in trouble and that it may be against the rules a little.

How do you think I should handle this?

I keep seeing questions from women/girls who are: scared of internal examinations, not sure what's involved, thinking they're painful, etc.

???

I'm amazed; I mean, has nobody ever been to a doctor before? Why would somebody anticipate pain? Is the cervix a mystery? Has nobody ever seen a speculum?

Then -- I have no idea if there's something I'm missing, like one's cervix sometimes becoming exceptionally tender during certain stages of pregnancy and thus easily hurt by a nudge (but -- how are these people having sex, then?), or... Is something highly unusual involved in certain internal exams for pregnant women?

Pray explain...?

I found out I was pregnant last Friday. Since then I have taken a test every morning to make sure the test line was getting darker and didn't disappear.

The line now is darker then it was Friday (5 days ago) and also the line shows up faster too.

Did you do this too or am I just paranoid?

Her full name is Chandler Raina Campbell. We have 3 other kids: James, Emma and Madison. But why is it that when we tell people their names they say oh cute! And then we tell them Chandler's name and they go... "Oh, another boy. James must be so happy." And when we tell them that it is a girl they go, "Egad. Ugh what a terrible name! What do you guys think? I love the name Chandler and this is my last child because I hate being pregnant but love labor... I always wanted to name my son Chandler but Blaine's dad just died so like I wanted to name James in honor of Blaine's dad, Viktor "James" Campbell. And James middle name is Chandler. And We asked James what he wanted the twins to be, so we said Yeah when he suggested Emma and Madison... this time he suggested Chandler (My favorite name) so we said yeah... But people are rejecting it. Need help!
