Your breasts will never be the same, and it's not because of nursing but because of pregnancy.

Like your stomach, the breast tissues stretch during pregnancy and then later on will sag a little when the tissues shrink down again. Ain't a darned thing you can do to stop it, sister.

That's life! Go out and buy yourself a pretty push-up bra.

Be proud of motherhood and accept the new body just as you accepted that new life within you.

They get normal?

Actually, the amount of milk produced depends upon the amount of sucking done. Therefore, as your baby ages, you produce more milk. There are growth spurts at 2 weeks, 6 weeks, and 3 months. When the child is 2 or 3 years old and mainly eating table food, maybe nursing at night or for comfort after getting hurt, they gradually go down.

The amount of calories you gain during pregnancy is burned up by breastfeeding for a length of time afterwards. I wish I still had a nursing baby.

first of all, don't stop breastfeeding unless you absolutely have to! it is really essential for the child to breastfeed for at least 6 months, if possible. the child continues to develop its brain, immune system, senses, and much much more for a long time after you actually give birth. it continues to live off your body, even when it is outside of you. formula may contain "iron" but studies have shown many times that it is not absorbed nearly as well as it is with natural breastmilk.

breastmilk will stop producing within about a week. take this decision seriously. the world health organization estimates that over 1.5 million babies die every year b/c they do not get enough breastmilk. it is essential for fighting sickness, promoting intelligence, and building bone strength - among many other benefits. it also reduces the mother's risk of osteoperosis and breast cancer.

good luck with motherhood and i hope you make the right choice.

well you didn't say how long you have been breastfeeding, but stopping is not going to make your breasts go back to the way they were. sorry to say...They may stay a little bigger than they were before...and with some exercises for your pectoral muscles they can improve...but sorry they are changed. Please don't stop breastfeeding because of the shape of your breasts.

Welcome to your "new normal." They went through a lot of changes during pregnancy and the initial post-partum engorgement that all women have. They will never be the same as before you got PG.....at least not w/o surgery.
