we need a little more info. How old are the kids? Is there a parent home? What will they be doing in the room? I would say you have to begin by trusting your kids until they prove you otherwise. Allow a girl in your son's room but have him keep the door open and establish some ground rules. That way you can walk by and just peak in and see what they are doing. If you don't allow it at your house they may go else where where there maybe no rules.

Yes, but they are not allowed out again!

Seriously, yes they are. If you want your son to act like an adult, you have to trust him as an adult. Don't set rules that assume he WILL do the wrong thing. Explain what is expected of him, and that there will be consequences if he goes outside those expectations. Show him respect and give him the oppurtunity to do the right thing first.

They should be. :/

I'm only 16, and my boyfriend is 19. I'm not allowed in his room, but he's allowed in mine... WITH THE DOOR CLOSED!
