I'm 26 weeks pregnant with my first and am very confused about what I'm able to receive as far as pay during maternity leave. I'm employee through a temp agency and am not using their insurance, I'm using my husbands, do I still get disability leave? Also, how does the 6 weeks bonding law work? Any help is appreciated, thank you so much!

it really depends on your companies policies. it's all up to them. there are no laws about maternity leave. the only laws that would qualify except FMLA and even then they don't have to pay you. plus with you being a temp, i doubt if they even have maternity leave with pay.

All I can suggest is that you speak with someone at the temp agency and find out what their policy is regarding maternity leave. As far as I know there are no laws on the books regarding temporary agencies and maternity leave.

Woth most jobs they give you 6 weeks for a vaginal delivery
8 weeks for a c-section, so basically they cant fire you during this time.
now b.c you are with a temp agency they are more than likely not to pay you.

i'm pretty sure maternity leave is 3 months
