I stopped taking ortho tricyclen on November 5th. When I stopped I had already taken 8 pills from a new pack...on November 10th I had bleeding and it went on for three days. I'm trying to get pregnant and not sure what is going on. I know I have to get regular first but after coming off the pill which should come first, bleeding or ovulation? I've been on the pill off and on for about 4 years. How long will it take me to conceive?

It has been my experience that if you are a housewife, you are considered stupid, lazy, and inferior to those who are so-called career women. I've even had women make remarks to me like "Oh, you just stay at home", or "How can you do that". People don't realize that housewives/mothers don't have it all that great, they never get holidays, don't get paid, their work-day is never done, have no financial security for the future, etc. I think people still have the misconception that housewives lay around on the couch all day and eat bonbons and watch trash TV. That makes me mad!!!

o.k before I hear just how stupid I am I do know it is probably very normal I just want to know if it common? and no "GAY" comments please, my 5 year old son has all these colorings he does at school and he makes his pink and purple almost everyday like his friends police cap blue and yellow his pink and purple his friends leaves green and brown my son's pink and purple,

I was been appointed on 12th- jan on probation, which was supposed to be of 6 months, in between i was granted 3 months maternity leave, now on 1st- dec. whether my 6 months period will include these 3 months or not

play with toy guns, pistols, rifles, swords and long sharp sticks?MY daughter in law says her son is only reacting to a show he saw on deer hunting.This child has killed every frog he could find on my property by putting sharp sticks through them; has pinned my puppy down on his back with his knees holding the puppy's front legs flush with the floor while he attempted to strangle the animal. Luckily an adult interviened and saved the dog from further abuse and possible death. His mother makes light of these bazarre incidents, in seemingly total denial that her son has some heavy issues. This child also had his hands around another childs neck just recently.A few days ago we went to the woods to chop our Christmas tree and came upon a deer as we left. ALL the way home the kid wined,"I want to kill the deer." (Ignored by his mother)How many agree with the mom:constant play with weapons is ok?any comments about mom and her child rearing abilities? please list all. Your voice may help!

I am almost 38 wks pregnant. I lost my mucus plug a few weeks ago and my doctor said today that im dilated a little but not too much(didnt say how much) im having alot more contractions but eventually they ease up, i also notice gas pains and sometimes menstrual like cramps. And im not constipated as much now(i was whole pregnancy) what does this mean?? also i am sooo uncomfortable can anyone tell me what worked for them at speeding things up????

I dont have any children I feel like why should i deal with kids when i dont have any of my own. I also feel like he is trying to put his son on me like its my responsibity. It is really tearing our realtionship apart because his son doesnt listen doesnt respect me,name calls me, likes to beat on my dog , and is extreamly bratty, why should I deal with this baggage anyone out here can relate or any advice to what I should do???

, I dont have any job skills, dont work,and totally depend on a money controlling monster.
He wont help me with my student loans, like he said would when I was pregnant, hates the idea of working, wont pay for daycare, I have no friends anymore,he wont get me a car so I can get out, and he always forgets what I say.
Whenever I say I want to leave he threatens me with ur child by saying get out of his house (he owns it) and sign our son over.
I feel trapped, how am I suppose to get a job if I cant get daycare to look after him? My common law husband works mostly out of town as well.
I am depressed, I know why and I cant do nything about it.
I cant believe this is my life, this is not what i ever thought it would be.
I am such a loser.

Dear All,

My two year and one month old son doesnt seem to be eager to do anything when it comes to doing it deliberately. If I tell him to say "one, two, three...", he just doesnt ever say it. I never overdo it, and i just give it up patiently.

Interestingly, to my consolation, he does copy me when i do excercise (yoga) for example.

I have learnt a theory that says: "Your child does what you DO NOT what you SAY".

Now, my worry is that I see a lot of children following their parents and learning the month names, A-Z, etc at his age, and then repeating it when their parents ask so.

Does my son lack the quality of listening? Is this common in this age? Or do I have to change my perception? What is the best action I could do?
