Qualified Natropaths out there?

Not only is it safe, it is recommended! Red raspberry is a wonderful herbal supplement for women. I want all my patients to drink a cup a day (or two!) for their whole pregnancy. It will NOT induce labor - that is not what it is for. It has nutritional value, but the main reason for women to take it is for it's uterine toning properties. By toning, I mean healthy. It will help you have an easier labor - but it won't put you into labor! It is good for all women their whole lives, not just during pregnancy.

I am not a Natropath, but I can tell you that I was told to drink red raspberry leaf tea to try to induce labor.

some say it is a inducer, but I never tried it. So I would make a call to your OBs office first. Better to be safe
