I found out I am having a girl. Due on Christmas day I am running really low on time....I want to name her Summer Rain but everyone tells me that It will give her a complex because she was born in Winter. So my husband suggested Crystal Rose. Whitch name do you think is better?

ust keep both in mind when you lay 1st eyes on your baby you'll know whats best.... she might not look like a summer or a crystal.. who cares what month she was born in... pick what you think best describes your 1st thought of her

I really dislike the name Crystal---just a personal taste thing though. I can't think of the name/word Crystal without thinking of some big gaudy Crystal Chandelier.
I think the name Summer Rain is nice...I don't think it will give her a complex at all. Sure, lots of people might ask "oh, were you born in the Summer?" and all she has to say is "Nope, the middle of winter, but I was such a ray of sunshine, my parents went with Summer"
by the way, I like the name Raine with an e....(huh, on another persons' question, I just went on and on about using traditional spelling....but, for Raine---I just think it looks more, I dunno....namey instead of "weathery")
I do love the middle name Rose, though....is Summer Rose an option??

That's a hard one.I like both of them.Summer Rain is cute and it would sound cheesy if she was born in the summer but sence she will be born in the winter I think it would sound alright.As for Crystal Rose I have never really liked the name Crystal but with Rose it sounds cute.

Every Crystal I have ever known is either trashy or trashy for a living. I really like the name Summer. I'm sure your little girl will be strong and intelligent enough not to have a complex bc she's was born in december. What about a compromise...Summer Rose

It doesnt matter if she was born in winter or not. I love the name Summer. Thta was one of our first choices for our little girl when we found out she was a girl.We were going to name her Summer Rose. (She is due in March) But Crystal Rose is also very pretty. Sorry Im not much help but they are both nice. I would choose Summer Rain.

Yeah both names are a little on the kitchy/cutesy side. But Crystal Rose is better. Summer Rain Sounds like a deodorant brand or worse. (don't get me wrong love the name Summer and Rain just not together) another spelling of rayn
