I have 2 brothers.. i am the only sister.. and i am the adoptive child of the family and I always felt like my two brothers were adoptive....:)
I was loved so much by my Mom and Dad that many of my cousins used to say that we wish ur mom would have adopted us instead of u.
And now when both my Mom and Dad passed away...both my brothers have taken place of them and i am still loved more than any other in the family.
Never doubt about a mother's love. If she has adopted anyone willingly she would love that child even more than her biological child. A mothers goodness is deeper than the sea. Never underestimate her.

Yes it is very possible. The mother adopted the child out of love, so no matter how hard its going to be on her in the end she should love the adopted child as much as she does her child.
