My 5 years old daughter has trouble pronounce nasal sound like M/N. When she says 'mummy' its sounds like 'mbumby' or when she says 'nanny' its sounds like 'ndandy'. she has enlarged tonsil and adenoid. Does this (tonsilitis) cause the speech problem? We still consider about having her tonsil remove because of her young age, but if the surgery will make her better in pronouncation then I think we`ll go for it.

We have an artificial tree that is attached to a base that last year was out of reach, bascially a shelf that cannot be moved. This year, he's climbing on everything. To tree or not to tree that is the question. The tree is prelit, so that's not a prob. It's more the ornaments I'm worried about. We live in a mobile home, and I don't have a clear view when I'm in the kitchen all the time.

At home and around family she acts likes like the sweetest girl she will do her homework quietly and we really dont have any porblems with her and she gets along with her siblings so she has some one to play with at home and to talk to, but at school she acts completly different and her father and myself have tried talking to her and she would tell us she was sorry and she wouldn't do it again, but that very next week we would get another letter from her regular teacher and her reading teacher we have started taking away the things that she holds dear to show her if she keeps acting up she will keep loseing privilges. She's a little to old for a spanking but occationally she still gets one depending what she has done. We just dont know what else to do we have tried talking to her teacher and her and nothing. She continues the behavior I'm a little nerves On Tuesday I have the parent teacher confrerence and I tired of hearing negitive things I would love to hear that she is doing good.

For example if she throws tantrums to change her diaper... almost every time, or refuses to hold my hand and listen to me to get out of the road when we go for walks? Some things can be potentially fatal, but she is stubborn and wants to do it her way. I need an immediate show of obedience from her at times, how can i teach her to understand that some things are urgent and i need her to obey immediately?

Wouldn't the rabbit die anyway if someone injected human blood in them be it from a pregnant woman or not they would still die because it was from a different species??? To me that seems like a dumb test! I can't think that DR's were that dumb to not think the animal would not die.
What if someone injected dog blood into a human would the human not die???

my daughters 4 day old baby was put on soybean formula.she had a lot of gas ,diarrah and her stomach would gurrgle on milk formula.the reason im concern is on a web site i read that soybean formula could cause brain damage.but my 2 daughters were put on it when they were born because they would always viomit from milk formula.it seems that every girl baby in my family cant drink milk formula,even thow my girls are ok.should i be worried about what this web site says.?

I live with a woman who is pregnant and suddenly I am having symptoms too! I know that females who spend alot of time together have the same cycles, so is it so far-fetched? At 9 weeks my tummy sort of popped a bit out and just below my belly button was a bit of a bulge now i am at 12 weeks and i feel almost the same as i was at 9 weeks only a little bit rounder but not really any bigger. Everywhere that i have read says around 11 or 12 weeks you just start to notice more changes but nothing is really changing. I still dont look pregnant to anyone else execpt myself in the mirror.

My neighbor picked a late hour last night to pull up a U-haul and start moving her friend's stuff into her apartment. At 11 pm she starts all this. She & her friends woke up my baby who I had to spend almost 2 hours trying to get back to sleep. This isn't the first time she's been disruptive late, but at 11 pm she wants to move in furniture?! I talked to her this morning and she actually had the nerve to get snappy w/me and say that her friend's husband was in jail and she needed her stuff moved that night, etc. You have to be kidding me!!! Then she starts in on the times we got on to her for letting her son throw stuff in our yard. The kid threw a knife into our yard!!! I told her she was being ridiculous & she tried to use the excuse that she has depression and is on sleeping pills and poor me, blah blah. I told her to cut the crap & that if she can't care for her kid she shouldn't have one & that there is no excuse for doing what she did last night. Am I right to be upset?

I need help...but I know Im going to get a whole bunch of answers from people who just dont care, and think I am satan or something. I am 23 years old...I just had my first baby girl who is 5 1/2 months old. She is my world...she is my everything. My son is on breathing treatments and they dont seem to work?
I was just wondering if any other kids have had this same problem. He has been on breathing treatments for a couple of months and never seem to work. He has gotten 2 chest xrays and they both are fine. But the doctors are always worried with how he sounds. Is there anything else that can be done? Do i just have to hear him at night always coughing (which is new). It is a really bad cough and it sounds like it is hard for him to even get it out. I hate to see him like this. Should i be concerned that the treatments are working? I should mention..he is only 5 months old..and has been diagnosed with bronciolitis in the past..when he was about 2 months old..seems to me that he never got over it...also no one in the house smokes..and he has been on the nebulizer treatments 3 times a day
