Pregnancy & Parenting - 18 November 2006

i went for a ultrasound the 14th( i was just at the end of my 5th week of pregnacy) of this month everthing fine except what i thought was low was my babys heartbeat was 95,97!!! so i have another appt the 20th(ill be at the end of my 6 week of pregnacy) this coming monday its been a week on monday my qustion is do you think my babys heartbeat will go up by the time i go to m next appt monday???? please answer haws this happened to anyone and do you think it will or did eise by monday the 20th of this month whoch my next ultra sound will be? (the reasons for the early ultrasounds is because i had a previous misscarriage!) thank you answers greatly appreciated

hi, i'm sixteen and about three months pregnant. My boyfriend isn't leaving, but he's acting really strange and depressed. me too. How can I help him? And what should I do? We think adoption is the best, but the months ahead are still going to be tough. Any advice would be great thanks.

She refuses to eat in her high chair and wont eat from a bowl. The on;y way i can get her to eat is if she walks around and helps herself to something from the fridge. I have tried even letting her feed herself but she just doesnt want to know. She is currently underweight for her age but not by far.

I have heard people say that the baby goes through growth spurts during the pregnancy. So does anyone have any idea what months I will grow the most? I am 17 weeks and it seems like just in the past few days my belly has swollen and so have the top of my legs. Not like water retension swollen. I haven't been eating any different so it has to be Angela. I know they have weight charts to go by but do they have them for each month? Thanks!

I have a 6 weeks baby and she only drinks small amounts at a time (30ml) then feels hungry after half an hour and wants more. This is not so bad during the day, but a pain at night. She is healthy and putting on weight so in definantly getting enough. People have suggested to give her cooled water or play with her but she will not take it and cries because she is hungry. Has anyone else experienced this? A tired mummy!

I'm 40weeks pregnant and have been experiencing sharp pains in my vaginal canal. Does anyone know what this could mean or indicate? Is it a sign of the cervix softening? I have been feeling it on and off for a couple of weeks now but am unsure of what it is?! Can anyone give me some helpful or useful tips on what to be prepared for incase I am to be induced into labour? Does anyone know any tips for inducing labour naturally??

My girlfriend got her period last month on oct 13. We had sex on oct 20 and oct 28. I wore a condom both times. She is on a 33 day cycle, so she was supposed to be due on nov 15th. She took a pregnancy test last night and it came back negative. (we used E.P.T.) She has still not gotten her period. She ovulated normally, and was getting all the symptoms (P.M.S. side hurting, ect.) And she is starting to get cramps. Her period however is nowhere to be found. Any ideas?

I woke up this morning and went to the bathroom to find spots of blood on my pantyliner. My period was due to come soon so last night I put on a pantyliner before I went to bed. I wiped myself and there was a little bit of blood on the tissue but not as much as when I have my normal period. Could this be implantation bleeding and how long should I wait to take a pregnancy test and get an accurate result? No insulting answers please. Thanks.
