My child is 16 months old and she has her first case of diarrhea. What can I give her to make it stop.

I dont think you can really give her any type of diarehia medication though I do know when kids are sick they recommend sticking to the BRAT diet (bananas, rice, apple sauce & toast). She may have picked up a flu bug or maybe she is teething. I know my daughter had horrible diarrehia when she was teething. If it last more than a few days I would bring her to your doctor, if you think she is getting dehydrated give her pedialyte. Hope this helps!

call you doctor and ask if they have any advice. If they don't think it's serious, you can feed her bananas and rice (they will help) and give her pedialite to make sure she doesn't get dehydrated. Hope she feels better!
