my sons nearly 18 lb now in weight i was wondering if enyone know a place that i can get a bouncy vibrating rocking chair that wold do him up to about 1 year old he was born 8 weeks early and loves his chair to bits but im stumped at what i can buy i stay in edinburgh in scotland so somewere near or that delivers would be a great help thanx:)

I am some where between 12 and 14 weeks pregnant (first ultrasound in a couple weeks to find out) and I have had continual discharge, sometimes it seems very thick, whitish yellow in color, other times ( and more recently) its watery and whitish clear. I am worried that I am leaking fluid or something, Its sort of blob-like (too much info, sorry) and not really watery, more like mucous when you blow your nose. Any thoughts of if this is normal?

I am 30 weeks pregnant, and having sharp pain in my right hip and pelvic bones. It usually occurs when I take a step to the side. I was wondering if there are any exercises to stretch or strengthen this area. I do all of the other stretches and exercises (pelvic tilts, kegals, "angry cat", leg, arm and back stretches) Have you experienced this pain, and what did you do to alleviate it?

I am 10 weeks pregnant and i "feel" like i am having a boy not because of extra sickness or any of that I just keep calling it a "he" but i really want a girl. My husband and his mom both think its a boy too... but it is obviously still to early to see in the ultrasound.... i know that there is no way of knowing for sure until its born (ultrasounds can be wrong) but what were your experiences... was your "feeling" right?

I am the mother of a 17, 15 , 13 , and 10 year olds. They never clean anything up after themselves! They cook and leave the mess, which includes stupid things like egg shells in the sink let alone the dishes. They leave the living room in a constant state of a mess. They have their friends over all the time and feed them our food which we cannot afford. They think it is the end of the world if they don't get to run around on the weekends with their freinds. They don't even clean their room untill their dad is totally pissed after telling them forever. Then they don't get why we are so mad. I feel like I'm forever stressed with all of this. Just about all I do is clean around here and do laundry and cook meals. I feel bad just for getting on here for a bit to relax alittle. Just got through arguing with them about helping to clean. I have to finish cleaning and go to work in 2 1/2 hours and make supper before I go. Am I alone in this situation?

My husband (Sams dad) died when Sam was 3 (he's just turned 11). My mum has him when i'm in work (after school) therefore he has no male influences. Sam is a good boy in genral who loves playing football & is very particular in his appearence.
However he has been behaving strange recently,
He has become very shy about his body, If he watches tv with me in just his boxers (after a shower) he will put a pillow over his lap, he also insists on loading the machine with his washing (not that i mind this). & yesterday I caught him weeing on a tree in the garden (which is quite large & seculded).
Has anybody experienced this or have any advice for me?
I thought that he may be starting puberty early, but my mum says that he is too young & little looking.
Whats with the modesty then weeing in outside?
Should I be worried?

I have had really bad mood swings, i eat more, i get the headaches out of no where, i have to pee alot more then normal but i took a pregnancy test about a week and half ago and it was negative i still had all the same symptoms and now i got my period but its lighter than normal and the cramps are 3 times worse than normal.

She will take a 4 ounce bottle, play for awhile then start fighting her naps. I usually cave and give her a bottle she will drink 1 or 2 ounces and then pass out. I have tried a passy, swing, rocking ect. she is inconsolable when tired. How can I teach her to take naps without a fight or a bottle.

Quite often I see the whole family out shopping, especially in the supermarket. You can tell when Dad doesn't want to be there but the vacant look on his face, the kids are playing up, mum is stressed. I go on my own, leave kids with Dad and he helps bring in the shopping when I get back. It is a joy for me as I don't have anyone with me who doesn't need to be!!

Ok so i was 5 to 7 days late for my period. Then i got it with heavy bleeding which has occured for 1 day and a half so far. Could i be pregnant or is it my period?? I never have had bad cramps like i had when i first started bleeding. Usually i just get a backache really bad. But i didnt even have that! Im not sure if i should get a test or if its just my period. What i have read about implant bleeding it light pink and really light not heavy. Which mine is not its heavy and dark. Am i pregnant or not?? How much do pregnancy tests cost even????

Well, I'm 4 weeks, and have dark, but sometimes red slimy spotting and mild cramping. Of course I called my OB and she said it may be a miscarriage. I'm so nervous. Please tell me if you had this at the beginning of your pregnancy and that it turned out everything was okay.

I have two young nephews (1 and 3). To help them count down to Christmas, I got an advent calender. Instead of candy or small toys, I want to put activites like a scavenger hunt to do, especially the three year old. Any ideas?

So far, other than the pregnancy test, I do not FEEL pregnant. My breasts aren't sore, just a little tender to the touch, I am not sick, just a little nausea once in a while...is this normal? Has anyone else had a pregnancy like this?
Also, I don't know if this is true, but I heard from someone that if you don't get 'morning' sickness, that you are probably having twins...has anyone else heard this, or is my friend full of crap?
