She will take a 4 ounce bottle, play for awhile then start fighting her naps. I usually cave and give her a bottle she will drink 1 or 2 ounces and then pass out. I have tried a passy, swing, rocking ect. she is inconsolable when tired. How can I teach her to take naps without a fight or a bottle.

At 10 weeks a bottle might be ok. It's bad when they're in their crib, holding their own bottle to go to sleep. But she's young. It probably won't last forever.

She knows when she wants to sleep. Don't fight her. Let her sleep when she is tired. Don't have a set nap schedule. And let her be awake in the afternoon as long a possible. She will have better sleep at night, and so will you. Also, if you are set on specific nap times, try giving her 6 to 8 ounces of milk to start with. She may just be still hungry.

She may be going through a growth spurt so she is needing more food right now. As long as you are not propping the bottle up in her crib to put her to sleep, I wouldn't worry about her drinking some milk before nap time. Propping bottles can cause problems with her teeth later on so it is not recommended.

I think 10 wks is too young to cry it out.....do you swaddle her? I was one of those moms that started out swaddling, then got away from it because I thought my daughter didn't like it, but she would never nap...anyway, once we started swaddling her up again, she was a much better sleeper.
good luck

Make her cry it out. She will get it within a week if you are consistent.
