I knew before my period was due because of the increased need to urinate. I thought I had a bladder infection and someone told me to take a home pregnancy test and it came back positive (I wasn't too surprised either when I saw the plus sign, I pretty much knew that was what was going on.) The bladder issue subsided for a while, but now it's starting to come back at 18 weeks along. I didn't feel any other symptoms until I was 6 weeks along when nausea started to hit (it lasted for 10 more weeks) Good luck.

A blood test can usually confirm a pregnancy about 5 days after intercourse. An over the counter test is not accurate until 3 - 5 weeks after.

My breast were tender and getting bigger for more than 2 weeks (normally I get this symptom about a week before my period). They just kept growing and growing.
Plus, I used to check my ovulation according to the feel of my cervix and it had felt different than I've ever felt before. Sorry its hard to describe what that feel actually was

when you lay on your stomach it feels as though there is something in the middle of your stomach that you are laying on, breast tenderness, nausea, umm i am trying to think if there is anything else that i know of, umm oh yeah beingmore tired than usual, any or all of the above are early signs of pregnancy, hope this helps, holly

Your breasts seem to tingle or increase in size. morning sickness, being moody. BTW, there card tests for early detection of pregnancy . You can buy them in any drugstore.

breast tenederness/growth was my first symptom and it came about when i was about 4 1/2 weeks along. shortly afterward i got nauseous and very tired.
