Hard and easy. Tiring and exhilarating. Depressing and cheerful. Boring and Fun. Most of all rewarding. It's just too hard to put it in one category, sometimes it's hard, and sometimes it's not. Sometimes you feel like pulling your hair out, and than they do the CUTEST thing you have ever witnessed. It truly is an amazing job with so many ups and downs. There aren't too many raises, but you know what, it's worth every bit of it.

I became a first time Mom at 39, I also have a grown stepson and 3 grands. My son is the greatest gift I've ever recieved. I didn't think I could have kids. Guess it was the X and not me. I am blessed enough to be a SAHM. Some days he's an angel, other's he really knows how to work that last nerve. He's 2 1/2.

My children are the reason I get out of bed in the mornings, the reason I'm here! Some days all you want to do is yell but others you smile all day long! It's very hard work, don't let anyone tell you any different, it's not always plain sailing but come bed time when you think back over the days events you can't help but smile. Children have an amazing talent, they can make you smile & laugh when you're feeling like pure crap. I'm getting teary eyed now just thinking about it!!! :)

Being a mother is the most honorable thing any woman can do. Don't get me wrong there are days I want to pull my hair out but by Gods Grace we get through the bad days and we enjoy the good ones.

It is what I always wished for.
It IS my PURPOSE in life, it is what I was put on this earth to do. It makes me more happy than anything under the sun. It is a very rewarding job, she is some one that depends on me, yet some one I can depend on too. Some days it is very stressful, but there is nothing in this world that I would change about being a mother!!!

It's the most challenging, frustrating, entertaining, rewarding, frightening, exiting, and stressful, thing I have ever done, and will ever do. At the same time, the relationship I share with my kids is so special it will never be matched.
Being a mummy is the hardest and at times the most thankless job in the world...............but I can't think of anything I'd rather be doing. The rewards far outweigh the negative aspects.xxx

well technically im not a mum, but i am really close to my 5 year old niece and my 2 nephews aged 3 and 1. i see them as my own and certainly love them as if they were. the best part of that for me, is when i go to their house, open the door and am almost knocked over by the 3 of them jumping up me and hugging me. i suppose being able to go home at the end of the day is pretty good too lol
